You're missing the point. Why make a game on the Attitude Era if u cant feature the BIGGEST AE star's signature taunt? Blurring in a video game? Come on now. Unless it's nudity, why the hell should it be blurred out.
I dont know about yall, but 80% of the people I know and who follow me on Twitter are copping this game for the Attitude Era stars and mode mainly. A lot of people are pissed about the blurring... and the Cole commentary because THQ and WWE just won't give us a game thats 100 % what the people want.
The game focuses on the WWE in 2011-2012, sure. The current roster is there. The selling point and story mode is Attitude Era. Consider WWE 12, had Austin's middle fingers NOT blurred out and a Holy Shit sign(no Oh My God shit) and it makes perfect sense why people are mad.
Why settle for little BS like this, if you're paying 60 bucks for a fucking game that comes out every year?
Why should people get agitated over little things like this should be the question. What matters the most in WWE games should be the gameplay, not little bitty obscure shit.
Just read up on some information on this game for the first time, and I gotta say that I'm pretty excited for it. The "Relive the Attitude Era" part of the game looks like it will be extremely fun to play. I enjoyed WWE 12' a lot so I'm hoping that this game will be even better.
If I end up buying this, I'm gonna change AE Taker's theme to this one:
Same, it's Taker's best theme in my eyes and that includes the themes he had as the American Badass. I usually reform the Ministry on Universe mode with some new guys (Abyss and Daniels for example) so having this as the custom theme always sounds cooler for their entrance.
They could put guys like Angle and others in technically, just using their attitude era attire/models and WWE owns the trademarks to those properties (other than real names obviously). I think it would look kind of stupid to have Edge & Christian, but no Hardys or Dudleys as those three teams essentially personified the Attitude Era's tag team division together. If they can have attitude Mark Henry of all people, then they can fit in some prominent upper carders from that era. Doubt they will though unless they're on "good terms" with the WWE.
I'd be surprised if they don't do day 1 DLC for the RAW 1000 set and some other updates. Don't know why but the old HD Set make the game look dated to me, though its understandable why its not in. I just really can't get behind the team's new philosophy concerning their WWE games, but they sell regardless so I can't really talk.
