From all that I've seen and researched thus far concerning WWE 13, I'll say that it looks somewhat promising though certainly not ambitious. They've had the opportunities to work out the kinks that plagued WWE 12's engine in addition to having a central theme to back on (The Attitude Era). Hopefully it feels more standalone and doesn't come off as WWE 12-2.
I just read Cory's most recent interview (http://www.incgamers.com/2012/08/wwe...-attitude-era/) and I'll say that I'm" definitely not surprised that a lot of things had to be scaled back. My hope is that this game will have a good lifespan because it felt like people got tired of WWE 12 and the last couple of SvRs rather quickly. No doubt this game will sell well regardless if pre-orders are any indication.
Not only does this SCSA look better than the real in game one, but he also has 4 attires while taking only 1 spot/slot. Embarrassing that your CAW mode and people working with it are better than graphical designers who probably had the chance to photo the real Austin for WWE 12 purposes.
On the plus side, at least we can have Nation Henry vs WSM Henry.
And can give them alternate themes and stuff. Don't think it'd have been possible for THQ to have diff versions of Mark Henry take up 1 slot, and do something such as giving him different theme song.
I have SVR 2009 and HHH has a normal version and an alternate DX version the DX version comes out to the DX theme AND a different entrance animation. It can be done, they are just lazy assholes @ THQ. A whole different move-set would probably be more difficult to pull off as an alternate but probably not, if that's their excuse then fine...I guess...I'm no programmer.
