Re: Official WWE 13 Thread
I would like to present you guys my Wrestlemania 29 PPV I had in my Universe Mode just today.
1. Kofi Kingston vs Antonio Cesaro vs R-Truth vs Zack Ryder vs Santino Marella vs David Otunga - Six Man Battle Royal for the WWE United States Championship
Story: This was a really cool match that I didn't even make myself. The United States Champion Kane apparently got injured at the two weeks after Wrestlemania RAW edition and this match was made. Really cool, the AI really surprised me with this one.
Result: I played as Kofi Kingston and I eventually won the match by lastly eliminating R-Truth. After the match, Kofi Kingston & R-Truth got disbanded, since Kofi did a kinda of a heel move when both me and Truth were eliminating Cesaro, which we actually did, but then out of nowhere almost immediately I push R-Truth to the ropes and hit him with the Trouble in Paradise, which sent him flying out of the ring. Kofi Kingston is still a babyface though, but he is probably gonna start feuding with Truth and he will eventually turn heel in the process.
2. Austin Aries vs Randy Orton - Grudge Match
Story: Didn't make this match neither. This guys have been feuding for a while, attacking each other after, before or even in the middle of a match.
Result: Played as Austin Aries but I lost, in an epic way at least. I was going for a 450 splash but got caught in a brutal RKO in mid air. Gotta admit though, I knew Randy was going to strike with the RKO,since he had a finisher stored, but I let myself get beat for storyline purposes.I enjoyed this match a lot.
3. Cody Rhodes (c) vs Johnny Hero vs Christian vs Rey Mysterio - WWE Intercontinental Championship Elimination Fatal Four Way Match
Story: I made this myself. I had a tournament to determine the qualifiers of this match after the Elimination Chamber Smackdown editions.
Result: Definitely one of the best matches of the night for me. I played as my CAW Johnny Hero in this one. Me and Cody Rhodes teamed up pretty much the whole match, due to my CAW and Cody being heels and Christian and Mysterio being babyfaces. Eventually, me and Rhodes lasted till the end, and then we had an epic match against each other, but I picked the win after making Cody Rhodes tap out to the Sharpshooter.
4. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger (c) vs The Awesome Style (The Miz & AJ Styles) - Tornado Tag for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships
Story: Didn't made this one. The Miz and AJ Styles have been a babyface tag team for a while. They have won the championships twice. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger have been pretty dominant in the Tag Team division.
Result: Didn't played this one, just watched. The last ones standing were Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles. Ziggler got the win for his team after a Superkick followed by a Zig Zag, retaining the championships.
5. Sheamus (c) vs Brock Lesnar (Royal Rumble Winner) - World Heavyweight Championship
Story: Brock Lesnar returned surprisingly at the 2013 edition of the Royal Rumble at number 30, lastly eliminating John Cena. He had in his mind going for the WWE Championship, but eventually, while Brock Lesnar was talking trash of the WWE and his current superstars in a RAW edition, Sheamus was the only to step up for the WWE, telling Brock to shut his mouth. Brock Lesnar, furious, tried to go for the Kimura Lock, but Sheamus didn't let him do it, he stopped him and tried to go for the Brogue Kick, but Brock Lesnar rolled out of the ring with an smile in his face, screaming to him that he was going too see him at Wrestlemania, making clear that he was facing Sheamus for the World Heayweight Championship. Obviously, I made up all of this in my mind, kinda like the other guys said.
Result: Not maked this one neither. Played as Sheamus in this one. After a brutal, epic match, Sheamus managed to hit the third Brogue Kick to finally end the match and retain his championship.
6. CM Punk vs The Undertaker - No Holds Barred Match
Story: At a RAW edition, CM Punk started to talk trash about past superstars, mentioning The Undertaker mostly, stating things that he was better than the streak, etc. At TLC, back when CM Punk was the reigning, defending WWE Champion, he was having a match against John Cena, when suddenly, the lights turned off and a gongs started to hit, CM Punk, shocked, got distracted, when out of nowhere John Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment and then locked to STF to make CM Punk tapout, finally winning the WWE Championship. After TLC, The Undertaker appeared in RAW stating that he wanted to face CM Punk at Wrestlemania. At first, CM Punk said no, but after Undertaker started to cost him all his matches by turning the lights off and playing gongs, CM Punk had no option but to say yes. Of course, this was all made up too.
Result: I made this match. Played as Taker. After a long, long match, CM Punk went to the top rope to hit the diving elbow drop, but Taker catched him in mid air to hit the second Tombstone Piledriver in a chair, winning the match. After this match, CM Punk and The Undertaker shook hands, turning Punk babyface in the process.
Main Event. John Cena (c) vs Kurt Angle - WWE Championship Match
Story: Made this one. Kurt Angle returned as a heel, attacking John Cena after Cena won at Elimination Chamber to retain his WWE Championship. After this, Angle challenged Cena to a match to Wrestlemania, which Cena accepted without thinking twice. Made up, again.
Result: Played as John Cena. Another brutal match, and after Kurt Angle was seemingly trying to hit the Attitude Adjustment to mock John Cena, John Cena reversed it into an ankle lock, making Angle tap out to retain.
So what do you guys thought about my Wrestlemania? I thought it was pretty cool.
“And so, everything that he touched turned to gold...”
