Angle is a known liar, but I believe TNA has more open contracts that allow their talent to branch out and do certain things.

WWE contracts are much more iron clad.

I doubt we see Angle in the game. It would be great to see old skool looking Angle in the game but its doubtful. Though THQ threw Hogan in WWE All Stars last year and he was still in TNA then so who knows.

Anyone else think the Breaking Point system sucks?

I feel like there is no chance to escape or reverse once you've reached red. At no point should it be an automatic win, there should always be a small window to escape or reverse.

They don't even legit grab the ropes on rope breaks.

I don't think WWE would make a concession for Angle to be in this game. For starters, he doesn't come into the Attitude Era until late, late 99 and doesn't make an impact until 2000, by which point the Attitude Era isn't the same. The AE is much better and more recognized from the 90's than the 2000's.

Secondly, Hogan only got in WWE All Stars because THQ convinced WWE that if Hogan wasn't in the game, people wouldn't buy the "All Stars" concept, which was correct. I don't think Angle needs to be in here to make or break the game, with all due respect to him.

I hear you on this, it does seem strangely flawed. I've had plenty of matches playing as Del Rio and practically not working over my opponents arms at all, I get a finisher and lock in the cross armbreaker and they just tap immediately (even on the hard difficulties).

I've also played a six-man HIAC as Kevin Nash with a friend playing as Yoshi Tatsu. I got hit with a chair a bunch of times by someone else and then put in Tatsu's octopus submission finisher and just tapped straight away. Not even a second to fight it. It was pretty funny though seeing as Yoshi won the WWE Title because of it

Oh jesus yeah, the Hell's Gate has gotta be the worst one. Facing Taker on legendary tends to be hard enough but the moment he locks that in you're done for.

Here's hoping they come up something better for the next game beyond button mashing anyway.
