You know if you don't want Christian in the minor title rankings you can go into Edit Superstar and make him stop competing for that championship.
It's not that, It just makes no sense for him to be in the upper card for a whole month and then manages to compete for the IC title. I just edit the irrelavent matches in the PPV card anyway. I.e. if Christian has a match for the IC title, I just replace him with someone else.
As long as we can still get January's DLC and any patches that THQ had plans for (if any) then I'm not too upset about them going bankrupt. I don't really expect to see any patches for the game. But if January's DLC is going to get pushed back or even not come out. I'm gonna go out to GameStop and trade off this game.
The company has entered into an asset purchase agreement with a bidder to acquire "substantially all of the assets of THQ's operating business." This includes THQ's four wholly-owned studios and games in development.
So does that mean a company can buy rights to WWE games?

Yeah, although they are offering a company to out-right buy the whole THQ operations and keep it running like it has been, but under new owners. But if a company is willing to buy a specific license for a game then THQ will most likely sell it to them. Although WWE is one of their most popular games so THQ might not be the same if a company just buys the WWE license. Although I think WWE themselves has a saying as well.
There is a chance we might not get WWE14 or a game in 2013. THQ does have over a decades worth of experience with WWE games and a new company taking over might or might not affect the game. I guess the most important thing from the company interested in buying the WWE license is to keep Yukes which are the developers and have almost perfected the wrestling game engine. Will be interesting to see how the future of WWE will be handled.
I hope if WWE does allow the rights to the game to be sold, it's to 2K or EA. Even starting from scratch, I feel like either company can make the game great.

I would take 2K over EA. EA would handle WWE games worse than THQ.
the bankruptcy filing is a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Most often this form of bankruptcy filing is used to re-structure so the company can emerge as a rehabbed entity. This is really just them doing everything they can to not go under. If selling the WWE IP/License is apart of this, then great. But I dont know if theyre going to sell off that asset first.
