Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

I put Kane and Daniel Bryan together on my game and gave them Cryme Tyme's entrance and Kesha's Die Young as entrance music just for fun. Not regretting it at all.

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

Just got done with my TLC PPV, here's my results...

Tables Match
Wade Barrett defeated Kane

United States Championship
Daniel Bryan (c) defeated R-Truth & Cody Rhodes

WWE Tag Team Championships
The Y2Jiz (c) (Chris Jericho & The Miz) defeated Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara

Intercontinental Championship - Ladder Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) defeated Kofi Kingston & Christian

World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio (c) defeated Sheamus

No Disqualification Match
John Cena defeated Randy Orton

WWE Championship - TLC Match
CM Punk (c) defeated Triple H

One thing I've noticed is once you get really far into Universe, the computer starts to properly recognize your feuds and the pre booked matches become more realistic, resulting in more cut scenes. I've been getting some pretty cool cut scenes that actually go with my feuds lately. I had Triple H and CM Punk being separated by security the week before TLC which was pretty sweet.

I realise where they're going and that WWE will push Roman Reigns straight to the top. However for me, Dean Ambrose is by far the most talented in that group and I think eventually if they just give him the spotlight then he's going to shine. As soon as he touches a mic everyone else can just sit down as he's magic on it. So It remains to be seen, I think they're all talented but to me Dean was the star of that group. I think Roman looks like the star of that group but I don't think he's nearly as talented as Dean.

Singles match:
Shawn Michaels vs. The British Bulldog

6 Man to Determine #1 Contender for the Undisputed Championship:
Bret Hart, The Rock, Triple H, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan

Didn't disappoint, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho put on a match they are both capable of, Guerrero came out on top with the Frog Splash, a great start to the show and a great start to the Universe.

Quick Tag Match for the titles up next and the APA dominated, Christian and Edge didn't seem to co-operate with eachother a lot though, I hope they're not split up so early, got promising things in store for them.

Another title match next with the IC belt, Miz actually got a lot of offence in but Kurt Angles superior skill is what saw him come out on top, an Olympic Slam and an Angle Lock was too much for the Miz in the end, what next for the IC champion?

Shawn Michaels picked up the victory against the European Champion in the penultimate match of the night, Owen Hart was a nuisance in Bulldogs corner doing all he can to help his fellow Hart Foundation member but in the end it wasn't enough.

The Main Event was epic, literally. Bret Hart was first eliminated by Brock Lesnar and then Triple H was eliminated by The Rock, the final four men were in the ring for a bout 10 more minutes until we saw the next elimination which was Brock Lesnar, Goldberg picking him up for the Gorilla Press and throwing him over the top rope. Rock was next to go and it left a final encounter between the two ex-WCW superstars in Hogan and Goldberg. A brawl ensued between the two before Goldberg picked Hogan up for the Jackhammer in the middle of the ring before throwing him over the rope.

So we have our number one contender, Goldberg vs. Austin feud for the title sounds tasty.

Nice card. I just finished Summerslam and my main event just happened to be CM Punk retaining the title against Triple H in an epic 20 minute match. I also had Sheamus defending the World Title against Randy Orton in which Sheamus ending up winning, but then I cashed in MITB with Dolph Ziggler and became the new World Champion.

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

I just restarted my universe. I found that I actually really hated using the AE guys, especially seeing as the roster is nowhere near complete. I was going to add a TNA show as well, but I scrapped the idea.

You can't. They create themselves.

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

By setting a superstar you want to start a feud with as a ''rival'' to another superstar. Play some matches with those superstars, cutscenes should happen and the feud develops from there. And if you keep it up, the feud should intensify leading to big PPV match down the line or something. That the best advice I can give if you want to try to set up your own feud, but as said above, feuds can create themselves randomly from a match you play. I personally create all my feuds though, and I don't settle for what the crappy computer makes for me, unlike some other people in this thread who will complain about silly feuds happening in their Universe Mode when they could easily make their own feuds and stop complaining.

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

Followed up that Raw with an absolutely brilliant Smackdown.

Singles Match:
Ken Shamrock def. Dolph Ziggler

Falls Count Anywhere Match:
Bam Bam Bigelow def. Vader

Tag Team Championship Match:
New Age Outlaws (c) def. Kings of Wrestling

Light Heavyweight Championship Match:
Dean Malenko (c) def. AJ Styles

Singles Match:
The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer def. CM Punk w/ Paul Heyman

--

The match between Bam Bam and Vader was awesome, back and fourth, both men bleeding, ring looking like it someone just slaughtered pigs on it. Both men hit the finishers and kicked out with the narrowest of margins, in the end Bam Bam put Vader through a table to win the match, real great match, think I will continue this feud on.

That wasn't even the best match on the show, the Light Heavyweight match between Malenko and AJ Styles was one of the best matches I have seen since I've started playing the game. Went on for about 20 minutes, some great counters, near falls but in the end AJ Styles ended up tapping to the Texas Cloverleaf for Malenko to retain.

The main event wasn't really anything special, CM Punk losing out to Taker. Not much "star power" on Smackdown, it is more of a wrestling show with the likes of Aries, Punk, Bryan, Malenko, Styles, Tyson Kidd etc. but due to the fact I don't really have a brand divide, I will most likely mix and blend in regards to the shows.

Do you watch or play your matches, Cookie Monster?

You can make your own rivals by editing superstars or just let the computer do it like previously stated. I'm a lazy ass when it comes to that, so I just let the computer do it. But so far I haven't really been that disappointed. Brock Lesnar & Edge had a feud that lasted a good two months (fought at two PPVs and weekly on SmackDown). Each week there would be a cutscene between the two. Also, had Shawn Michaels feuding with Steve Austin for a short time when I first started the Universe. I'm not really upset with what the computer makes on mine though. As I put anybody I don't really care for on the inactive list.

I'm debating on whether or not to actually download some CAWs. I'd really like to add guys like Tyson Kidd, Dean Ambrose, Brad Maddox and so on. Just not to sure yet, as I've never been a huge fan of CAWs overall.
