I've had hardly any cutscenes so far, but I'm not really bothered. I'll take making my own feuds/matches over the computer making them any day, even if that means I get less cutscenes. Having total control and making MY Universe Mode what I actually want it to be is much more fun imo.
I agree, but whats the fun in that when you do get the full experience of universe mode when you don't get any cut scenes? You mind as well not play universe and just stick to exhibition if that's the case.
Got the game yesterday, Attitude era - done. Going to recreate 2004 roster.

If you set up your allies and rivals before hand, and play along, the game should be setting stuff up right. At least it has for me.
Ah, nice idea. I'll do this tonight for sure.

The fun of playing through the weekly shows and building your feuds to big PPV matches. The fun of booking decent title reigns for wrestlers and taking on all contenders. The fun of making your own innovative feuds and matches to keep the game fresh. And It's not like I don't get any cutscenes, I just don't get them often. It would be nice to have more, but then again I don't want cutscenes that aren't relevant to the feuds I'm having. For example, if I'm having a Punk/Ziggler feud I don't want John Cena to attack Punk after the match in a cut scene. You Understand? I love Universe Mode, it's what's given the games a ton of replay value for me in the last few years, and I find it fun when I make it MY Universe Mode and not what the computer thinks I want.

Nice. Fuck the overrated Attitude Era, I want a Ruthless Aggression themed game dammit! I want Evolution, 2005 Christian, Muhammad Hassan, Legend Killer Randy Orton, RVD, JBL, Eddie Guerrero, Carlito, 2005/2006 Edge the list goes on... I want my most fondest memories of wrestling in one game.

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread
A big factor in getting cutscenes is NOT having shared titles between brands. When you do that then you have wrestlers from other brands having matches on other shows, and the game WILL NOT set up storylines between wrestlers from different bands. Thusly, those matches will not have cutscenes and will not be a part of a storyline.
Some other notes:
Storylines last 4 weeks and only advance if you actually see the cutscene (meaning you have to run the match, not simulate).
The feud packs from Attitude Era mode only relate to Attitude Era star-specific cutscenes. There's apparently 50 of these, and 150 non AE-specific cutscenes.
Also the first month of Universe mode appears buggy in regards to storylines so I'd advise simulating the entire first month before adjusting everything to your liking.
With all this in mind I've actually had every match on the card be part of a storyline. You don't always get a cutscene, but the feud will still continue the following week and you'll get a cutscene at some points. Then if you wish you can always use up some non-title match slots on the PPV to have a blowoff match. Since I only have one brand I have about half a PPV card to include non-title feuds.
