All the early copies come with it. Happens with a good amount of games. Happened with Assassins Creed 3 I picked up on the same day as WWE 13.

Not exactly. It was the Cyber Sunday PPV where absolutely everything is randomly decided upon via random number generator. One of the matches on the card was a Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Title and Khali got the victory over Christian (champion going in) and Santino Marella.

Like Striker said, first edition copies of WWE '13 had the Tyson code. I can vouch for that since I work at Gamestop. They only tell you Mike Tyson comes with a pre-order so you pre-order the game, but just like Darksiders II, Crysis 2, The Darkness II, WWE 12, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and so many games before 'em, all first edition copies are essentially "pre-order" copies where the code is already inside. It's just to drive pre-orders, nothing more.

So how much Universe Mode have you played so far? I remember from old posts of yours that you played a ton of Universe mode on WWE 12. I've played two months so far (just finished Over The Limit) but I've been playing most matches.

Two months in to mine as well, got things set up fairly nicely atm. Me and my friend are carrying over our history from the last game so we're on the eighteenth year overall, which is pretty wild. My Universe is currently characterized by hotshot title changes. Examples being that Shawn Michaels won the WCW Title in an Elimination Chamber match at Cyber Sunday, only to lose it the next night on Nitro to Mark Henry of all people (he had won a #1 Contender's match at Cyber).

Bobby Roode also ended my CAW's near 1 year long WWE Title reign at the PPV in an Armageddon HIAC match, much to my disappointment. Although my friend was desperately trying to win the match as David Otunga so I dodged a bullet there . Kota Ibushi won the #1 Contender's spot to the title and had his shot on Smackdown, coming up short to Roode. However my CAW used his Commissionership powers to have a quick WWE Title return bout with Khali as the guest referee. One Maddox screwjob later and I had my title back!

It's a lot better in this years game than last years so far though. The matches are just simply much more fun to play. How's your Universe mode going so far? Hopefully not as chaotic as mine gets haha.

Question to people who've been having some real good matches, what settings do you have it on?
E.g Hard or Legend, default or edited slider settings etc.
Some matches I feel like I just dominate way too much and I'm not going to do the whole "Oh yeah, I'll let you beat me up for a bit, then I'll play" thing. Plus, what the fuck is the "General Balancing" sliders for? Some say it's the difficulty to which you can reverse, others say it affects both user + CPU.

Asiiiiiiiiiiide from that, this is one of the best wrestling games I've played. Attitude era is a perfect campaign for a wrestling game, universe mode feels like I'm in complete control, everything just feels good. Only gripe is the 1 count shit, but it doesn't bug me nearly as much as it seems to bug others, aka, it's something I can bare with.

I'm pretty much done with the Attitude Era mode. Just finished the Mankind and WrestleMania XV stories. It took me a few tries with the triple threat steel cage match, but I finished that one too. Got all of the objectives and will start on the Off-Script portion tomorrow. Overall, I really liked the mode itself. It was challenging in parts and was a good trip down memory lane. The video and photo gallery's were also pretty nice to see. Loved the 1997-1999 Raw intro clips most of all.

Besides that I began to play around with Superstar Threads. So far I just added two other colors to Shawn Michaels attire. One from the MSG Incident and one from WrestleMania 12. Also changed Triple H (1999) version to his "My Time" theme. Like that theme more than I do the DX one. Also, does anybody have the video (or a simple guide) on how to edit AE Kane's entrance to be blacked out at the beginning (I just know it has to do something with Jericho's intro).

At lot less chaotic lol. I try to keep my Universe Mode as realistic and up to date as possible, so I don't have crazy rosters with old titles and such, that why I just finished the Over The Limit PPV and not some other PPV (maybe I'm just too lazy to create different shows/PPVs :P). That's what I find fun doing, but as a result my Universe Mode won't be nearly as interesting to some people. I dislike hot-shot title changes and I'm trying to establish some good length reigns for some my champions currently. My CAW's currently the IC Champion and Christian is the US Champion and I plan to have both of them hold the titles a few more months before I do a sweet unification match down the road. Got Rey and Sin Cara as the Tag Champs currently, probably let them hold the titles for a fair bit to establish a feud for them in the future.
