The countering system, kickout meter were 2 of the main things I hated about WWE12. If they could ever figure out how to make a game harder, without having so many counters, then it'd be way better. It's harder to determine how good a match is, if half the match you spend either counting AI moves, or AI counters your moves(I have AI countering on max,cause if I didn't, I'd win too easily).
The other big thing is stamina. Part of it ties in with countering. But the countering rate 15 mins in a match, is same rate as it was at the start of a match. If I could go for a finisher 2 mins into a match, there'd be just as much chance for my opponent to counter it as it'd be 15 mins into it.
And as well, just like in real life, matches suck alot if the commentary sucks. Look at a sports game, something like NBA 2K with the NBA Today feature, makes playing a game seem so much more unique cause of the commentary/presentation info which gets updated daily(at least during the season). Some other game like NHL, seems boring cause of same commentary for several years(just like WWE).
It also doesn't help WWEs case when it's not only the same commentary in the game for several years, it's lines that shouldn't even be in the game(like mentioning hardy)
