Just got the game now from EB Games. They were open late tonight because of Assassin's Creed III. Thank God for that!
EDIT: Can anybody tell me where's the "season mode" on this game? I don't understand the "Universe mode". (That's my first WWE game since Here Comes the Pain)

As far as the AE roster needing to be unlocked, yes. You start with Shawn Michaels, Rock, Mankind, and Stone Cold unlocked.

There is not a season mode exactly, the story mode in this years game is the attitude era mode, where you play through special moments from the era
It replaced road to wrestlemania from the previous few games |

What's everyone thoughts about the game?
I've been playing it for the past few hours, and despite a few bugs, this game is just flat out fun. I've wrestled a lot of fun matches that would've ended in 5 minutes in WWE 12, but this one it goes 15-30 minutes. I wrestled an Extreme Rules match against Triple H as Brock Lesnar, and that was the funnest experience I've had playing one of these games since Here Comes The Pain. It was brutal... broken barricades, tables, steps, chairs, kendo sticks and A LOT of blood before the match ended in 30 minutes. Also did a Taker/Mankind Hell in a Cell match, which was also a lot of fun.
Started Universe and set up my shows and PPVs, first Raw (Raw is War) was main evented by Austin/Rock with HBK as referee, Austin wins and then HBK attacks Austin to end the show, which sets up the storyline I wanted ending that match. I haven't even touched Attitude Era mode yet, but I can't wait to do that.
This game is just a lot of fun, for me, at least.
