At 1:46, ADR gets hit with a Rock Bottom. At 2:01, he's made a full recovery, and isn't even selling. It took 15 seconds to recover from a move that, by all rights, put away an entire generation of wrestlers. Sure.
The gameplay in this entire series, dating back to the games on PS2 has been shit. They just need a complete overhaul. The reason I have rented only two of the games, purchased none in the past six years is because the gameplay is too hard to ignore.
I want to see some realism, not hitting a Tombstone on Yoshi Tatsu, he rolls to his left, to his right, then flips up after 3 seconds. It's fucking stupid. I don't want to be one of those guys who brings up AKI games over and over, but that gameplay nailed it. Easy to use, a lot of different options, wasn't too slow or too fast, and it was REALISTIC.
After you hit a finisher, they shouldn't immediately grimace and hold their back for 2 seconds, before standing straight up... The way a lot of moves flow when you do them just looks awful. In the HBK video on THQ.com, he hits Sweet Chin Music on Bret Hart, and it looks like Bret is just going to wobble without falling down.
