Very very true as well! Haha.
My rebuttal was going to be that each character in WWE needs a back story and everything. But I guess each player has to be talked about somewhat too.
Seems like there's more scenarios in Wrestling though than in any other sport. All the things that can happen in a match with all the different match types, etc.
Anyways, I'm not even disagreeing with you, 2k commentary is unreal and unmatched by anyone, if they couldn't make a full on wrestling game I wish there'd be a way for them to have control over commentary (doesn't make much sense, but I'm just desperate)
On a game like NBA, they do have backstories on almost every single player. Along with backstory on every coach, and default phrases that could be used for any coach.
I was playing the rookie challenge game, and my coach was the coach of the rookie squad, and then they actually started talking about what my coach said to the young players and everything(they even referred to my coach by his name, didn't just be like "the rookie coach said ____"). If you didn't know better, you'd think that my coach was actually the games default rookie game coach(when in reality,he was just one of the many other coaches throughout the years who could be coach for that team in association mode)

That's just pure dedication and hard work right there. Wow! I wish WWE cared enough for that to happen, cause I wonder how many days they give Cole and King to record or if those two choose how many hours they want to put into the game. I wish they weren't so scripted either and just have them react to the action in the ring naturally.

Vertical Suplex ? really thinking they took out all the suplexes.
Canadian Neckbreaker = Orton's getwrench neckbreaker, take it out the game then bring it back reanimated.
They make brand new breaking point submission, but still couldn't be bothered to update the Mandble Claw ?
This never stops being hilarious and they now got you guys dropping cash to use moves for wrestlers already in the game.
Replace their ankle locks with the An Cole Lock. Problem solved.
Why should I have to fix their mistakes? Not to mention, if I play online with those characters they'll still have the shitty grapevine, so problem not solved.

Added the option to add A.I. participants to Online Matches. Great when you’re having difficulty filling the last couple of slots in 4-6 man matches
Yay for boosting
lol, would be funnier if you could add in AI players to interfere(though a cheat code). If you're about to lose, just press "Up,down, left, right, left trigger, down,up" and you activate a random AI controlled superstar running down to help you out.

I forgot which game it was, but I remember hearing on one game(NBA or Madden maybe?) that they recorded scripted commentary, but also recorded alot of commentary from the commentators, based on them just calling the game without a script. So that they'd not only be saying non scripted stuff, but they'd be talking in a normal tone of voice.
That's one thing I hate about video game commentators, most sound nothing like they do in real life. I only ever heard one commentator from playing a video game before, then I watched a real life game one day, and I never even noticed the guy calling it, was the commentator from the video game, cause of how diff/better he was in real life.

Yeah, It's Madden that does that. Wrestling is definitely something where you need natural reactions.
