maybe the contract with them gives The game makers more or less full control (I know they said they would not make one of the games unless they could have hogan and WWE caved, so maybe wwe caved yet again?
The nostalgia is making this game look great, but the gameplay is still going to be trash. I hate seeing the videos of a finishing move being done, and the wrestler taking it rolls to the left, rolls to the right, then just stops moving. Looks ridiculous.
But still, I'll buy first day probably. My first WWE game purchase in 7 years. I think I'll be changing some theme songs too, which was my favorite part of renting the game last year.

I wanna use old themes too, but depending on load times to do create an entrance, I might just not want to constantly switch back and forth between themes if I wanna use diff themes for guys at diff times.
Though if I create NOD stable, will obviously use the NOD theme. Might even do old nation vs new nation type of thing on universe lol

This guy provides a stats walkthrough in Universe mode. I gotta say, loving the way the stats are laid out, basically all your activity is chronicled. One thing i'm curious about though, at 1:33 into the vid they show Del Rio's stats where it shows his amount of title wins, but it only shows the stats for the title on his show (WHC, IC). I wonder what happens if ether he or the titles swap shows, will the WHC win count blend in with the WWE title win count for example?

@Blarg, that's a good question. Hopefully it shows ALL the titles they've won. It wouldn't make much sense for the game to keep track of a certain show then suddenly erase everything if you change titles for the show or change the superstar to a different show.
At least I hope! If I remember, I'll try to test that scenario when I go play!
Does anyone have any assumptions on "hit point ratios"?
Maybe the amount of damage the wrestler can do on each body part with every blow??? I'm not sure!

This is nitpicking, but the only 3 gripes with what i've seen in that video are
1: You can't edit a PPV card until the day of the actual PPV. (the guy had to simulate the entire month to get to the MITB PPV card.
2: Zack Ryder was announced as the WWE champ yet he had the Internet championship around his waist
3: Jericho wore the WWE title over his jacket. (Undertaker had the title under his so I don't know why they couldnt do the same here)

Yeah, those annoyed me a bit too. But like you said, just "nitpicking". Small things that I'll get over, but they're still annoying to even have at all. Haha. I mean last year, whoever was the announcer for the WCW arena (I can't remember, might've been Chimmel) he would say "The WCW Championship Kane (or whoever was holding the title). Bit ridiculous but after awhile didn't bug me anymore.
Another thing though, is that some of the titles still look too small. The Tag Title on Ziggler is way too small. The WWE Title and Attitude WWF Title are the ones that I notice are a good size like last year. I don't know why not ALL of the titles are just bigger, it can't be THAT difficult. The WHC still looks like a toy.
Again, "nitpicking" but like I said before, the small details that they fix go a long way.
