Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

God I hope the servers will work this year. Community Creations were impossible to access and use for longer than 30 seconds at a time and then having to go back 2 loading screens and so on and on back and forth just to get the damn Servers not available at this time screen.

That was my only gripe with the game. Everything else was miles above SvR 2011.

One of the best features in FIFA games is the audio.
The Audio in FIFA is great because EA Sports attend Football (soccer) matches from all over the world and record the different chants.

What THQ seem to be doing is just grabbing a bunch of random people and pushing them into a recording booth.
The Audio in WWE games doesn't sound authentic. It just a bunch of people chanting and it sounds awful.

What I think THQ should do is to attend a WWE Televised event in New York or Chicago (It has to be these two cities) and to tell everyone to stay for about half an hour after the show to record the different chants. That way the crowd chants in the game wouldn't sonud like 5 people chanting, instead it would sound like 15,000 chanting.

What do you guys think?

Anyone like this idea?

what I noticed in the trailer:

- Current superstar graphics are different to attitude era superstars (almost as if it is a different mode)

- Ring breaking is actual gameplay as the steps outside the ring move away from the ring and I think they disappear.)

- fighting in the crowd is back (When Austin speared Mankind through the baracade) since there is this big empty area between the crowd.

- possibly improved commentary

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

^The ring breaking and fighting in crowd I'll guess is probably a story mode cutscene or something.

Maybe for the attitude era guys, it'll be a separate game mode? Like how on UFC, they have the normal UFC stuff, as well as Pride mode.

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

I can't see the ring breaking being part of a match. If it is, it wouldn't be too irritating though since I'm sure it wouldn't just happen out of the blue.

Rusev | Sami Zayn | Dean Ambrose | Alberto Del Rio | Jack Swagger
Timothy Thatcher | Chris Hero | Scott Dawson | Dash Wilder | Roderick Strong
Summer Rae | Charlotte | Carmella | Becky Lynch | Paige

Panthers - Red Sox - Nuggets - Mets

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

It can't be apart of the match, because having that breaking of the Ring, would be the ending of the match in my opinion, if the Ring breaks, what do you do then, so it's a cut scene. It comes down to this, fixing the servers, because many plenty of people won't buy the game fearing problems with the servers, and adding new moves to the game.

Re: Official WWE 13 Thread

Btw. if you notice in the trailer when Punk hits the G.T.S. his left shoulder isn't blank and there seems to be a Pepsi tattoo (or something similar). Finally.

Also I hope they are able to have more wrestlers entering with their T-Shirts (even if the tees would be outdated), the whole thing with 2 wrestler models always sounded fishy (or lazy programming) to me, because in every other game there are just additional layers on player models.
