Week 5

WWE Monday Night RAW from Memphis, Tennessee

We get a video from Extreme Rules showing JBL beating Mason Ryan, and Triple H beating CM Punk to become the new WWE Champion.

The RAW video play follow by fireworks inside the arena.

King: Welcome to my hometown of Memphis.
Michael Cole: Tonight we have the fallout from last night’s Extreme Rules and we also start The King of the Ring Tournament. Here is how King of the Ring works. There will be eight Qualifying Matches. Four for RAW and four for Smackdown. The winners will then go to the King of the Ring pay per view and be entered in the tournament. The winner of the tournament will get a WWE or World Heavyweight Championship Match at the Money in the Bank pay per view.

King of the Ring Qualifying Match
Zack Ryder vs Briley Pierce
The finish comes when Zack Ryder goes for The Ruff Ryder but Pierce ducks it. Briley runs over and locks in a ankle lock. Ryder reaches for the ropes but Briley Pierce pulls him into the center of the ring. Zack Ryder have no choice but to tap out.

Michael Cole: This young rookie is entered into the King of the Ring tournament.

Backstage Mick Foley is in his office.

Mick Foley: I asked for some face time tonight for a few reasons. One is that Stone Cold Steve Austin might of won the Internet Champion but his superstar, Mike Bennett must defend it against one of my RAW Superstars at The King of the Ring Preshow. Now I don’t know who I am going to choose to face him but I promise that the Internet Championship will be coming to RAW. Now I want to announce a double main event for next week’s RAW. On RAW next week, John Bradshaw Layfield will be in action against another John, John Cena. In our other main event, it will be a Extreme Rules rematch as Triple H takes on CM Punk, nontitle match as JBL gets the next championship match. Enjoy RAW tonight and Have A Nice Day. Bang Bang.

Mick Foley smiles to the camera.

COMMERCIALS

JBL vs Kofi Kingston
The finish comes when Kofi Kingston goes to the top rope. He jumps but JBL gets a boot up and Kofi jumps right into a hard boot from JBL. JBL runs and plants Kofi with The Clothesline From Hell. Bradshaw covers Kofi Kingston for the win.

Michael Cole: What a match that was.

After the match, JBL picks up a mic.

JBL: What I just did to Kofi is what I am going to do to each and every single WWE Superstar. I did it last night with that nobody Mason Ryan. I did it with this jumping bean, Kofi. I am going to do it to that thug John Cena next week on RAW. At King of the Ring, I am going to do it to that long nose company man, Triple H. I am going to beat him and become the new WWE Ch.....

Just then Triple H attacks JBL from behind. HHH shoves Bradshaw into the corner and start hitting him with his taped fist over and over. Triple H pull JBL out and goes for The Pedigree but JBL shoves Hunter and quickly gets out of the ring. Triple H smiles as JBL runs up the ramp. Triple H picks up the mic.

Triple H: At King of the Ring, JBL, I am going to kick your ass.

Triple H drops the mic as JBL looks at him from the top of the stage.

COMMERCIALS

We see a video from Extreme Rules showing Kaitlyn making Tamnia Snuka say “I-Quit” to become the new WWE Diva’s Champion.

Kaitlyn/Kelly Kelly vs The Bella Twins
The finish comes when Brie switches places wit her sister, Nikki. Kelly walks over to Nikki but Nikki quickly rolls her up for the three.

Michael Cole: The Bellas used twin magic to pull off a victory here tonight.

We see a video showing some of Raven’s past matches with ECW and WWE. On the screen it says “Raven In Action Next”.

COMMERCIALS

The Miz vs Raven
The finish comes when Raven goes for The Raven Effect but The Miz shoves Raven into the ropes. Raven bounces off and Miz quickly goes behind him and plants him with The Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz covers Raven for the three.

Michael Cole: In his return match, Raven lost to The Miz.

Backstage we see Mason Ryan warming up and on the screen it says “Earlier Today”.

Mason Ryan: I know that I lost to JBL last night and I am so damn upset about it. That’s ok though as I am entered to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament. Once I beat Brock Lesnar tonight, I will then go on to King of the Ring and beat three people on the very same night. I hope, no, better yet, I am preying that JBL beats Triple H for the WWE Championship because once I win the King of the Ring, I then get to go on to face Bradshaw for the WWE Championship. This time though, the outcome will be a lot different because I will beat the so called “Wrestling God” one, two, three, and I will be declared the new WWE Champion.

Mason Ryan walks out of picture.

COMMERCIALS

King of the Ring Qualfiying Match
Mason Ryan vs Brock Lesnar
The finish comes when Brock Lesnar gets upset that he can’t easy beat Mason Ryan. Lesnar gets pissed off and leaves the ring and out of sight. The ref counts Brock Lesnar out. Mason Ryan moves on to the King of the Ring.

Michael Cole: What is Brock Lesnar’s problem? Anyways, we are being told that the final two Qualifying Matches from RAW will take place next week and they are Kane taking on Bully Ray, and Chris Jericho taking on The Miz.

We get a video showing the history of Triple H and The Rock.

COMMERCIALS

Triple H vs The Rock
The finish comes when Triple H sets up The Rock for a Pedigree but JBL enters the ring with a chair and hits Triple H with it. The ref calls for the bell. Triple H wins by DQ.

Michael Cole: Looks like JBL is getting back at Triple H for earlier tonight.

JBL hits HHH in the back with the chair five time straight. JBL gets on top of Triple H and start hitting him. The Rock gets up and pulls JBL off of Triple H but Bradshaw kicks Rock between the legs. JBL says “This is between me and Hunter, stay the hell out of it” to The Rock. Bradshaw gets back to punch HHH in the skull with hard right hands. We see that Triple H is bleeding from the hard shots. Bradshaw gets up and grabs the WWE Championship. Triple H pulls himself up and JBL cracks him in the head with the title.

Michael Cole: JBL have just left the WWE Champion, Triple H in a bloody mess.

RAW goes off with JBL holding up the WWE Championship.

WWE SMACKDOWN FROM NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA

We get a video showing Kurt Angle winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules.

The Smackdown video plays follow by fireworks inside the arena.

Josh Mathews: Welcome to Smackdown. We have a new World Heavyweight Champion and his name is Kurt Angle. We are not going to waste any time as we are going to find out who Kurt Angle will defend the World Heavyweight Championship at King of the Ring.

Number 1 Contendership for World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs Randy Orton vs Sheamus
The finish comes when Edge does a Spear to Randy Orton. Edge sets up a Spear to Sheamus but Sheamus quickly plants Edge with The Brogue Kick. Sheamus covers Edge for the three.

Josh Mathews: What a move by Sheamus. Sheamus will face Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Championship at King of the Ring.

COMMERCIALS

Daniel Bryan vs Sin Cara
The finish comes when Daniel Bryan locks in The Yes Lock. Sin Cara taps out.

Michael Cole: Yes, Daniel Bryan defeated Sin Cara, Yes.

Backstage we see Edge throwing a fit over not becoming number one contender. Smackdown’s General Manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin walks up to him.

Edge: Steve, this is bull. I should be the Number One Contender. I should face Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Championship, not Sheamus, but me.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: You know what?

Steve smiles and drinks his beer.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: You see what I did there, what? Anyways, you know what Edge? I will give you one final chance at the World Heavyweight Championship because good ole Stone Cold Steve Austin is entering you in the King of the Ring. Your qualifying match is next week on Smackdown.

Stone Cold walks away as Edge looks upset that he have to go through King of the Ring to get a World Championship Match.

Josh Mathews: The 2012 King of the Ring Qualifying Matches continue right now.

King of the Ring Qualifying Match
Mike Bennett vs Matt Hardy
The finish comes when Matt Hardy goes for The Twist of Fate but Bennett drops down and rolls Hardy up and even hooks the pants for the three count.

Michael Cole: The first Internet Champion, Mike Bennett have just qualified for King of the Ring.
Josh Mathews: We are being told that in the Quarter-Final Match at King of the Ring he will face Mason Ryan.

We see a recap video of Deuce N’ Domino winning Tag Team Turmoil to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

COMMERCIALS

Deuce N’ Domino vs The Usos
The finish comes when Deuce and Domino connects with Crack Em In The Mouth to Jimmy Uso. Domino covers for the three count.

Josh Mathews: A great win by the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

After the match, Domino gets a mic.

Domino: Hey yo. Don’t you forget our names. I myself is Domino, yeah.

Domino passes the mic to Deuce.

Deuce: I am Deuce and this is my oh so sweet girl, Cherry.

Cherry waves to the fans as Domino looks pissed.

Domino: Don’t look at my baby sister you freaks.

Domino try to cover up Cherry as the fans boo him.

Deuce: We are the new WWE Tag Team Champions and we will be the WWE Tag Team Champions for a very very very long time.

Deuce drops the mic as Domino and him leaves the ring.

COMMERCIALS

We see a video of Tyson Kidd leaving Justin Gabriel during the Tag Team Turmoil Match.

King of the Ring Qualifying Match
Justin Gabriel vs Tyson Kidd
The finish comes when Tyson Kidd puts Justin on the top rope. Tyson climbs up there with him and calls for a hurricana. Gabriel kicks Kidd straight in the jaw and Kidd falls to the mat below. Justin Gabriel jumps and does a picture perfect 450 Splash. Justin Gabriel covers Tyson Kidd for the three.

Josh Mathews: Justin Gabriel moves onto the Quarter-Final Match at King of the Ring. He will face Briley Peirce at the pay per view. Next week the final two King of the Ring Qualifying Matches will take place on Smackdown and they are Edge taking on Yoshi Tatsu and Wade Barrett taking on Randy Orton.

COMMERCIALS

Champion vs Champion
Kurt Angle(World Heavyweight Champion) vs Carlito(Intercontinental Champion)
Halfway during the match, Kurt Angle grabs Carlito and plants him with The Angle Slam but when he picked Carlito up. Carlito’s legs hit the ref and sends him out of the ring. The finish comes when Kurt Angle locks in The Angle Lock in on Carlito. Sheamus runs out and enters the ring and plants The Brogue Kick to Kurt Angle. Sheamus smiles as Kurt Angle is knocked out. Sheamus grabs Carlito and pull him on top of Kurt Angle. Sheamus leaves the ring and picks up the ref and slide him back in the ring. The ref sees the cover and slowly counts to three. Carlito wins the match.

Josh Mathews: Looks like Sheamus just send Kurt Angle a little message.

Smackdown goes off with Sheamus celebrating at the top of the ramp as Carlito celebrates in the ring.

Chris Jericho Roleplay 001

It's a bright sunny day in Winnipeg, Canada. The sun is out and the feeling around the place is electric.
A cab sits out infront of a hotel called the Winnipeg Hotel.
Chris walks out to the cab with his luggage bag. The cab drivers opens the door for him.

Driver: Where we going today Chris?

Jericho: The airport Mike. Iv'e got a huge show tonight.

Driver: With Fozzy?

Jericho: Haven't you seen the papers! Chris Jericho returns to Monday Night Raw tonight! Yeaaaah!

Driver: I'm not a paper reader, you know me.

Jericho: Just get moving, i have a show to steal!

The driver starts the car and makes his way to Winnipeg Airport. Eventually arriving, the driver opens the door for Jericho.
His payment is made and before too long thousands of Canadian wrestling fans file in to the airport to see the former World Champion.
They line up inside and outside the airport just to get an autograph if possible, there are that many individuals.

Chris whispers to himself
Jericho: Holy smokes... That's right, im back!

The fans scream louder and louder as he walks by towards customs.
He signs numerous autographs for his Canadian fans before heading towards customs.
As he reaches the end he looks back and smiles in a vintage Chris Jericho way. He waves his arms up, pumping the fans up.

Jericho: Come ooonnn! Let's Gooo!!

Jericho receives loud cheers as he walks off through customs. The fans start walking away and leaving the Airport.
Whether the WWE will return to Winnipeg, we will never know. An hour and a half later, Jericho is finally let on the plane.
He leaves for San Jose at 9:00am in the morning, expecting to arrive at 12:30pm lunchtime.

Three and a Half hours later...

Chris arrives in San Jose, California with a world of expectancy on his shoulders.
He walks out into the Airport and is once again greeted with a thousand fans flocked in the main domestic lobby.
His face tells the story, he simply can't believe how much support he is receiving by the fans around the globe.
He walks beside his agent, Kevin towards the exit.

Kevin: Chris, we will take the private car to your hotel room in downtown San Jose and let you prepare.
We will leave for the HP Pavillion at around 3:30pm to give you some extra time at the arena.

Jericho: That sounds good to me Kev. Hang on a sec, i have a phone call.

Chris answers the phone, it has come up as a private number, so he is unaware of whom it may be.

Jericho: Hello?

Prv Number Speaker: Chris? It's Mick Foley!

Jericho: What in the hell do you want Mick?

Foley: I just wanted to let you know that tonight, if you can beat JBL, you will really put yourself up there in main picture.

Jericho: If? you kidding me. I will beat Bradshaw and i will be in line for a title shot in the near future.
Foley, i will be the new face of this company, im Chris Jericho for god's sake, have you seen all these Jerichoholics at the San Jose airport, they love me!

Foley: Whatever you say Chris. I will see you when you arrive at the arena.

Chris just hangs up the phone and walks away towards his private car.

Three hours later...

Chris arrives at the HP Pavillion in downtown San Jose. He enters the building with a smile on his face, wearing his greyish suit.
He immediately heads to his locker room to prepare for the event.
Before he gets there, he walks into Jerry Lawler.

Lawler: Chris! Welcome back!

Jericho: Thankyou King, it's good to be back! who wouldve thought the great Chris Jericho would return? huh?

Jericho smiles at Lawler and just walks away. Jerry whispers to himself

Lawler: Why is he always like that..? hmm.

Chris finally gets to his locker and walks in, only to find Mick Foley standing inside, by his ring gear.
Jericho rushes in to face Foley. Chris doesn't look happy at all about this scenario.

Jericho: Foley, what in god's name are you doing in my locker room!?

Foley: What in god's name is this?

Foley moves his body revealing Jericho's ring gear.

Jericho: The ring gear i asked for!

Foley: Let's just hope you can light up the crowd tonight in the ring, rather than just your entrance itself. You better start getting prepared.

Jericho: Just mind your own business Mick.

Foley: Oh, and speaking of light. Why don't you lighten your mood up a bit, you seem a little tense.

Mick smiles and taps him on the cheek, sarcastically as he walks away and out of the locker room, leaving Jericho to get ready.

8:15pm - HP Pavillion in San Jose, California

Lawler: Woah, what a match between Bully Ray and Kane!

Cole: That was one to behold King!

Lawler: Ladies and Gentlemen. When we come back, Michael Cole will be in the middle of that ring with a very special guest!

Raw cuts to a commercial break and returns with Cole standing in the ring.
He has that smug look about him, the one he thinks shows his confidence.
He's wearing his original dark Michael Cole suit and has a micraphone right beside his lips.

Lawler: Here we go, time to listen to this annoying voice again, this time for the world to hear.

Cole is met by loud boo's from the loud San Jose crowd, who await the arrival of the Fozzy leader.

Cole: Ladies and Gentlemen, it's already been a great show tonight but it's going to get even better with our two main events tonight.
Before he competes tonight, please help me in welcoming back the best in the world at what he does... Y2J... Chris Jerichoooo!

The arena's lights go black, and a huge wave of anticipation goes around the arena.

Lawler: What the hell is going on?

Cole even looks shell shocked, noone knows whats happening. But all of a sudden a shadowy figure appears on the the ramp, but you can't see him at all, just a slight shadow.
Then, to the delight of the fans, Chris is out on the ramp with his back turned to the ring and his arms out, but this time, unlike ever before, with colourful lights beaming out of his jacket.
Pyrotechnics hit and they are instantly followed by 'Break the Walls Down', Chris's theme song.
Jericho turns with a huge smile on his face, perhaps showing that lightened up mode Foley mentioned earlier. The crowd is going wild!

Lawler: There he is ladies and gentlemen and by god, that is one way to introduce yourself again. Jericho is back!

Chris makes his way into the ring and stands beside Cole. He even shook Cole's hand.

Lawler: Be careful Chris, you dont want Rabies!

You can bet your house on the fact that every one watching on tv is laughing at King's comments towards Cole.
Nonetheless, Cole begins to speak again, to the dismay of Lawler.

Cole: Chris, first of all id like to welcome you back to the WWE.

The crowd cheers as Jericho nods to Cole, in appreciation of his welcome.

Cole: You don't get the easiest start to your return do you. You face JBL in a matter of minutes in your first match and we all know what Bradshaw did to the Game of all people.
Triple H on Raw last Monday. How do you feel about your first match since your return?

Jericho: I...

He is interupted by the crowd, who start Y2J chants. Chris laughs and takes in the chant, he seems to be enjoying this crowd.

Jericho: Wannabee's! Gotta love it!

The crowd surprisingly cheers louder, as if they are proud Jericho wannabe's.

Lawler: Everyone's jumping on the Wannabe bandwagon now!

Jericho: I love it!. Anyway, Cole, i really think John is the perfect opponent for me tonight. He thinks he is so tough just because he beat up Triple H last week.
I watched Raw, i always do and tonight i can take matters into my own hands. Im very happy that he is my first opponent and you will see Chris Jericho beat JBL, one, two, three tonight.

Cole: You have been out for a while, don't you think you might be a little rusty?

The crowd boo's at Cole's comments, in dissaproval.

Jericho: The crowd just summed up my answer Cole. I have been training for over a month now, in preperation for my return to this company.
I will be ready for JBL, and sooner rather than later, be ready for the next World Champion, whether that's Triple H or JBL after King of The Ring, i don't know.

Cole: Well thankyou for your time Chris and good luck in your match, which is up next!

Jericho: Pfft, luck. Cole, i don't need luck. You might need some now if you don't get out of my ring.

The crowd cheers loudly again as Cole leaves the ring.
Jericho rops the mic and he referee hands it to the announcer on the outside.

Lawler: Ladies and Gentlemen, that man in the middle of the ring,
Chris Jericho, will go one on one with the self proclaimed 'Wrestling God' Live on Monday Night Raw. That match is NEXT!

Raw cuts to a commercial.
