I'd say it's a fail. Wwe and their annual game doesn't cut it anymore.

in my opinion im content with it. not fully thrilled but ill play it. also in my opinion no mercy, smackdown2 and here comes the pain AMAZING and true wrestling games. no mercy is my number 1 pick. things that bother me about wwe12: reversals are the match, no stamina/2 fast of recovery, you cant get on top of the announcers table (if you can let me know how 2), and the RTWM. i miss picking whatever superstar i want 2 go through a storyline. screw wrestlemania. its about you controlling your favorite superstar and deciding their "fate". also they need 2 get on EAs level and allow face scans 4 the CAS. the other thing is online. servers suck, created things take 2 long 2 download, and also "boosting".... let me explain. you join an elimination chamber match. 4-5 of the ppl know each other so while you are wrestling 1 the others are saving their finishers up just 2 have a bukaki of finishers put on you. this isnt cod so why boost? i also wish the response time (reversals, kick-outs, etc.) could be matched up once the host is selected.

ok im done ranting lol. all in all i give wwe12 a C-

There's a ton of problems, but EA is a lot worse. The whole series would be changed and EA is just terrible either way.

I wouldn't mind Activision taking on as publisher of the series. They do a good job managing annual releases of the highest grossing FPS franchise of this generation. I'd still want Jukes to develop though.

Madden and Fifa are EAs only great games, and I think Fifa is only good cause it's the only soccer/football out there, and their market is the entire world, since the whole world basically plays soccer compared to something like hockey, basketball where only a number of countries really do.

2K would be great to make a WWE game. Especially since they have updated stats/commentary for their games with the whole "___ Today" feature. It'd work out for WWE as well, cause if we're playing that today mode, we could do something like Orton vs Kane, and then in the commentary, we'll hear something like "Last week, Kane attacked Orton on Smackdown and now tonight, the viper is out for revenge on the big red monster".

Their 2k share mode is similar to the community creations. On 2k share you can share individual players, so that's the same as sharing CAWS for WWE games, and 2K servers are fairly good as well.

I ordered this game off Amazon a few days ago. Honestly not sure why as I can't really get into wrestling games too much these days. The last SD game I bought was 09, haven't played any title since then. Should be interesting, but sounds like it'll be more of the same. I'm not too concerned about CAW or online play as I normally play exhibition, so we'll see.

Anyone noticed that WWE12 had been since its release in the top 10 of Gamefaqs.com Top 100 Most Wanted FAQs? Only last week it dropped out of the top 10, now the 360 version is on position 11. Not bad for a wrestling game!

The fans can feel the adrenaline surging through the stands and they realize they are each a part of the spectacle, a part of the phenomenon, a part of the thrill of wrestling. Each of them will forever be able to say... I Was There."

2K is great when it comes to sports, but if they were to take over the series I think the first release would be seriously disappointing. Wrestling doesn't just follow a set of rules with slight variables, while say Hockey, Basketball or Baseball do.

Community Creations is still about as functional as a human appendix after 4 months. Fucking ridiculous.

Besides the fact that everytime you download something your teams get wiped out in Universe, it's a fantastic game. I love how you can put people through ladders and tables, without finishers. Last man standing matches are way too easy though, as are the royal rumbles. It's harder to get someone counted out in a regular match than it is to keep them down in a last man standing.
