It's not even out yet, nor have all details been released. How can you possibly know it is "5 years behind it's time"

I always like the WWE games for the most part, I feel like I'm the only person who does lol. I guess having never played some of the better games (pre Smackdown! Vs RAW) I don't really have a full understanding of how good wrestling games can be thus satisfied with the ones they bring out every year.

Re: WWE '12
I enjoy the games too, but in terms of other sports games it really is far behind. THQ think if they add a feature we've had in like 2006 which they removed to bring back, we'll be happy.
Weight detection was in 2006, they fucked that up and then removed it. They're now re-adding it and saying it's a new feature when it really isn't. I also couldn't care less about hope the rope and rings react more realistically.
Pathetic too when fans are pleased that the titles are the right size - finally and this basically the only reason I'm excited for this game, that and the updated roster and hopefully they'll have fixed the Universe Mode.
If the Create Mode is something decent then I'll be happy.

I have to agree with you. Generally I don't like comments that are super negative on a game and call THQ and Yukes trash, but this series for me seems to be at a standstill for the past couple of years. Features that should have been implemented a long time ago are still not in the game. For example, 8 person matches were in the third Smackdown game then have never been seen again? WWE has been running Survivor Series matches for years and we still can't past 6 people max? The argument saying that the can't fit that many detailed wrestlers in is nonsense. They have done it before. Other sports games like NBA 2K11 featured 5 on 5 basketball and those players were pretty detailed. Create-A-Taunt was in the 5th game and it let you give your CAWs a little bit more freedom and that disappeared along with different walking motions and fighting stances. Create-a-belt gone too. GM mode was simple fun that was thrown out too.
I hate to bag on the game, but at one point we need an upgrade. I'll still get the game as I like the series. There are things I like in the game. I like the RTWM Stories. I think most of the time they are pretty good with a few bad ones. I like the TLC physics in the last game. And the create modes are still pretty good, but most of those have been around for years without major upgrades.

When you are playing a game that is using a template which has been around since the PS2 era, then you can say it's behind its time. Hell, I'm going to say this is probably 6/7 years behind its time. I still don't get why people fall for this scam and buy the game every year.
I don't understand why they don't work on a brand new game while pushing SVR turds.

Re: WWE '12
That's why I just pirate this game now. Refuse to pay for it when THQ just bring back a mode that was in a 2003 game, polish it up the tiniest bit and go on as if it's all new.
No, fuck off THQ and improve the series.

Edge, Diamond Dallas Page.
2.Custom Belts
3. Power 25s
4.When you unlock ECW you get it in universe you also get Tuesday Night ECW and it works just like Raw or Smackdown.

Re: WWE '12
I'd love to see some extra arenas in the game. The Undertaker one was pretty cool, as was the Nitro arena. Hammerstein needs to come back though. And perhaps some new creative ones and maybe some old WM ones or something.
