RTW was an epic failure last year. The most frustrating part was that the mode was just fine with the way it'd been done in recent years with the linear storytelling/TV presentation style. The revamped effort was just awful from top to bottom and totally not fun. I got halfway through Christian's RTW then never played another one. Which is too bad because as far as choices go it was at least the most appealing lineup ever with Christian, Jericho, and the vs. Undertaker one.

These devs have a thing for quitting what's working, i.e. dropping GM mode, which was perfectly fine until they added ECW and it just became a clusterfuck.

I ended up playing them all just for fun. I liked Christian's because of his stuff with Edge but that's the only one that stood out for me. Rey's wasn't horrible though but mainly because I like Swagger and Bourne. Undertakers is just weird as fuck.

SVR GM Mode in '06 and '07 is awesome.

Odds on the roster reveal revealing an obvious wrestler? Like Edge?

I'm not even going to let myself get excited about this game again.......
but every year just right after SS I get excited even knowing full well that not a lot will change.

Supposedly there is 75 in-game characters this year. Realistically, I can see this being the roster;

RAW
1. Alberto Del Rio, 2. Big Show, 3. Chris Masters, 4. CM Punk, 5. David Otunga, 6. Dolph Ziggler, 7. Drew McIntyre, 8. Evan Bourne, 9. Jack Swagger, 10. John Cena, 11. John Morrison, 12. Kofi Kingston, 13. The Miz, 14. Rey Mysterio, 15. R-Truth, 16. Santino Marella, 17. Vladimir Kozlov, 18. Zack Ryder.

SMACKDOWN!
19. Christian, 20. Cody Rhodes, 21. Daniel Bryan, 22. Ezekiel Jackson, 23. The Great Khali, 24. Heath Slater, 25. Justin Gabriel, 26. Kane, 27. Mark Henry, 28. Randy Orton, 29. Sheamus, 30. Ted DiBiase, 31. Tyson Kidd, 32. The Undertaker, 33. Wade Barrett, 34. Yoshi Tatsu.

DIVAS
35. Alicia Fox, 36. Beth Phoenix, 37. Brie Bella, 38. Nikki Bella, 39. Eve Torres, 40. Gail Kim, 41. Natalya, 42. Kelly Kelly, 43. Melina, 44. Maryse, 45. Layla.

LEGENDS/FREE AGENTS
46. Edge, 47. Shawn Michaels, 48. Michelle McCool, 49. Bret Hart, 50. The Rock, 51. Stone Cold Steve Austin, 52. Chavo Guerrero, 53. Ted DiBiase Sr., 54. Randy Savage, 55. Jerry Lawler.

DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT
56. Sin Cara, 57. Alex Riley, 58. Mason Ryan, 59. Tyler Reks, 60. AJ Lee (fingers crossed)

MISSING OUT
Mike McGillicutty, Primo Colon, DH Smith, Kharma, Curt Hawkins, Trent Barreta, Goldust, JTG, Skip Sheffield, Brodus Clay, The Usos, Tamina, Rosa Mendes, Jinder Mahal, Johnny Curtis, Kaitlyn.

That's just my prediction. Of course the game is already outdated as we speak, what with The Nexus CM Punk, Heath Slater in trunks likely and probably some other stuff that we won't see coming like King Sheamus. I hope I'm wrong.

Your roster looks about right but I see McGillicutty making it, especially considering as their champions are generally set right before Summerslam and he's a tag champion right now.

Even though he just recently became a "real" wrestler, Riley's been a consistent character on Raw since last fall, I'd tend to think he'd make the cut as part of the initial roster.

I'm hardly the only person wondering but I hope Punk's new theme/tron make it in. What I don't know about game coding could fill a warehouse but it's pretty much just a plug-and-play issue with those things, isn't it? I tried to do the math with last year's game since we all seemed to be amazed they got Cody Rhodes' new theme/tron in and that game came out a month earlier than this one.

I don't see how hard it could be for them to put in some extra theme songs for people.

I really enjoyed SvR'11 - maybe, because it was the first WWE game I've had occasion to play since SmackDown vs. Raw 2006. RTWM were all good - Mysterio, Christian and Jericho were my favourites. WCW Nitro arena and extra realistic caws from online community (Sting, Flair, Savage, Styles, etc) makes me happy for a long time.

Now, I'll definitively buy WWE'12. I hope that in this game they create better arenas (in '11 every arena looks the same, it doesn't matter if you play at WrestleMania or Superstars, everything was at the same size) and add legends like Randy Savage and Ric Flair (if they can add RVD, they should also add him). In RTWM I'd love to see people like Cody Rhodes, Miz, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio.

Who cares about McCool or Chavo ? Better pics are Trish Stratus and Eddie Guerrero - I'm suprised that they dont use him anymore in games. He's a former WWE champion, Hall of Famer and most importantly - he's a LEGEND!
