Fire Pro Wrestling?

Anyone here play? I've got Fire Pro Returns for PS2 and it kicks ass.

NOTE: Anyone interested in further discussion regarding Fire Pro returns, or any other FP game, please PM me, I got something I'd like you to check out.

Re: Fire Pro Wrestling?

Soooo......... how did you get it for the ps2?

It's a Japanese version?

The control scheme never took with me. I'd make some caws and get squashed for like 5 mins straight and still not learn why I lost.

Re: Fire Pro Wrestling?

I have a modded PS2 that I play the Japanese version of Fire Pro on. It's great, I love the game to death. The only thing that sucks is you can't use created wrestlers in the promoter mode. Other than that, the game is pretty damn near perfect.

Re: Fire Pro Wrestling?

I love the series. I've been playing it since it was on SNES.

I still play FPR to this day. Making characters, setting up awesome matches. And of course, playing it.

It's the only game that at times I like watching instead of playing. The AI is that great.

Re: Fire Pro Wrestling?

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns was released in the USA. I liked some aspects of the game and I disliked some aspects of the game. The character creation was awesome, but I thought the gameplay left a lot to be desired, just like the WWE games.

Re: Fire Pro Wrestling?

The game is fantastic! I play it on an emulator since I can't get it over here, much better when you have saves. Sadly the Fire Pro Club (Apologies if I can't speak about that here) has closed registration for months, so any new saves that come out, I can't get to them . Anyway, the game is probably the best wrestling game you'll find. Don't let the 2D graphics fool you.

Re: Fire Pro Wrestling?

Been into Fire Pro since G came out, and I went through the trouble of importing just to play it (which also hooked me up with DBZ Legends). I had FPW2 on the gameboy advance, and currently own the American FPR. The game hasn't changed much since I played it on PSX, but is still one of the greatest things to happen to gaming and wrestling.
