Re: Smackdown vs. RAW 2009 Update
A bigger roster doesn't make a game better. It's the quality of the game itself. I doubt downloadable content would make a game better, either. Most games these days have that, even the crappy ones.
What did SvR08 have to make me buy it? Nothing. The Smackdown series is becoming like every other sports series. They're just pumping out titles without any real thought process behind it in order to gain a million+ buys. What the game developers need to do is not worry about any damn yearly release schedule and actually make a fine game that isn't being made just because it's another new year.

Re: Smackdown vs. RAW 2009 Update
I doubt I shall buy this version even if there is more wrestlers on it. Last year was major disappointment imo and I did not even get through a couple seasons like I usually do with the games because I got so bored with it. They should improve other things instead of just adding more wrestlers that nobody is going to use.

Re: Smackdown vs. RAW 2009 Update
Well guys, here we go
We're predicting WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 for release later this year.
THQ is to announce the "next addition to the WWE videogame family" on Friday, March 28. No further details of the announcement have been released, although we're anticipating news of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009.
The announcement will follow the 6th Annual THQ Superstar Challenge, taking place at the House of Blues in Orlando on March 27. A total of 16 Superstars will compete in a single-elimination tournament to decide the new king or queen of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. Reigning Challenge champion Elijah Burke will defend his title against superstars including Randy Orton, Carlito, Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy and Ashley.
Look out for details on the new WWE video game later this week.

Re: Smackdown vs. RAW 2009 Update
I cant wait for a huge roster, Miz and Londrick are musts and bring back Benjamin. But the main feature I really wud like to see would be random wrestlers appearing in season mode from time to time. Like how occasionally you'll have one night only returns of Marty Janetty or Gangrel or Blackman at the Raw XV Anniversary, I'd love them to have suprises like that, it would make the game so much more unpredicatable and fun.
I'd also like to see them incorporate a continuous season mode which works in a similar way to the football manager series where wrestlers get old and retire and computer generated rookies step up in their place, I think that could be cool because you could control a wrestler over his/her entire career.

Re: SDvsRAW2009 first(long) interview :D
Damn, you weren't kidding when you said it was long!
Good read though, interesting to see how the new tag team stuff works out. Sounds like it'll be a pretty good game.

Holy shit. Don't know how well create-a-finisher will work, but it sounds absolutely awesome! As a whole, the game will most likely suck as usual, unfortunately. Good read, although I just skimmed through it.

Re: A few pics of SVR09
Kennedy, Taker, Hardy and Cena all look the same pretty much.
Orton and Jericho look great though.

Create-A-Finisher sounds awesome. This game sounds really good.
