When the videos were over, the new news wasn't. Ledesma let us know that there will be an additional 300 motion-captured animations in SVR '09, that Road to WrestleMania will focus on the three months leading up to the big event, that the new tag features work in all tag matches (six-man tag matches were mentioned), and that he's not too worried about that "other" wrestling game coming to the market.

I'm about excited about this game as I am a kick in the balls every year we get excited and every year were dissapointed. Can't see this year being any different.

If it's three months of a story mode, then they better have a wide array of storylines that we can encounter other than the recycled crap in the past few games.

I also heard there'd only be 40 wrestlers on the game???? What a crock. I really hope that's wrong and we can get at least 60 (given the exclusive legends game, they aren't needed on 09, so more space available).

Only 3 months..that could be a little repetitive tbh. Not sure I like that,playing the same 3 months over and over.

Where did you hear about only 40 wrestler..if that's true I'll be very pissed pff,with no legends there's no excuse for not fitting most of the roster in IMO. 60 wrestlers would make me happy.

^ A few pages back in this thread. I really hope that I am mistaken. 60 is only scratching the surface though, there's 90+ active wrestlers on all three brands, so really, 75 would more of an acceptable number to me.

Yeah but apparently it is going to be much more character specific with the storylines this year, so each 3 months may be different from superstar to superstar.

sXe you've mistaken. The said 40% learger than last year's. Not 40 roster.
