As long as the actual commentary itself is improved, I don't care tbh.

The most important thing, however, is repairing the damage that the 24/7 Mode caused. AWFUL.

Yeah, they said their not even going with 24/7 mode this year XD....I actually liked the overall idea, it's just the way it was put together <.<

It was a terrible idea for a number of reasons.

First of all, they combined the General Manager and Story modes. This was a bad decision because THQ prevented the player from being able to play two modes at one time. I enjoyed playing GM and Story modes on SvR2007 because if I got bored with one mode, I could play the other for a while and vice-versa. SvR2008 eliminated that option.

Another reason why 24/7 Mode was crap was because the storylines didn't make sense, and weren't consistent. If I fight for over a month (game time) to become No.1 Contender to the WWE Title, I expect to get my title match. Instead, I suddenly get put in a random storyline just so the game can include a Legend in the mode.

Also, some parts of the mode didn't make sense. I mean come on, I do a website interview and I get fatigue? That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen!

Well its been confirmed that they wont be doing 24/7 mode this year so I wouldnt get to worried about it.

I would like SVR2009 not to have voiceovers in the Career Mode, they could do so much more with it if they didnt have them.

Also I would like GM Mode to be more interesting.

I agree, the HCTP season mode was without a doubt the best season mode in the SD series, they didnt have voice overs so they could fit so much more in and there were so many more options.

Also you could ask the GM for a title shot which would vary according to your superstar points which was an awsome system. Then of course there was the contenders list which was just awsome.

I was playing Smackdown HCTP the other day there, its quite worrying the number of wrestlings that are no longer with the company for various reasons - death, retiring or whatever. The case is the same with SVR 2008, this is even more alarming. I can't wait for 2009, I actually cannot wait for the new game!!! K

Well hopefully now that we've got downloadable superstars and content, the game's appeal will last longer.
