Re: **OFFICIAL WWE SmackDown! Vs Raw 2009 DISCUSSION THREAD**
Looks like we may get Foley on the SD team, from JR's new blog
I will spend two long nights this week doing voice overs for the next THQ/WWE video game, which will be out this fall. Wrestlers who make the video game roster are provided an opportunity to earn significant dollars via royalties. Those that don’t make the video game roster have a problem. Everyone can’t be on every game, but that should be the goal of 100% of the roster.

I don't see how this means that Mick Foley will be on the game.

Because, the announcers record their lines close together, coach wouldn't have his lines recorded yet, meaning Foley's will be as their just now getting around to recording them.

Indeed he is.
Hopefully there are some MAJOR improvements to the announcing in this game, because I'm sick to death of hearing the same bloody comments over and over again.
In Pro Evolution Soccer, the commentators will say which player has the ball and what happens if he takes a shot at goal, if he misses or scores.
So why can't they do the same for SvR? There needs to be more play-by-play commentary rather than random comments and stupid bickering between the announcers.

I agree but it would be very hard to do, I meen they have 3 different commentary teams and they all spend a long time in the recording booth as it is so really it comes down to the amount of time they have and the amount of recording is required.
To be honest I wouldnt even mind if they kept the majority off last games lines but they just need to add to it.

Re: **OFFICIAL WWE SmackDown! Vs Raw 2009 DISCUSSION THREAD**
So if Foley has a very good chance at being the commentator for smackdown in the game, does that also mean we will have Mike Adamle for ECW? And I thought the commentary on the Wii version sucked last year...

I think it is very likely Adamle will do the commentating, he was there before Foley.

Hopefully he won't have any mistakes, since it is all scripted, right? That and I'm sure the creators wouldn't let any mistakes or errors stay in the game. Oh, wait...
