Well your right about one thing, and that is they only care about money.

GTA is targeted at an entirely different fanbase to WWE, and they want to fit as many features as possible into it. WWE wants exposure to every platform so fans aren't left disappointed, which is why I have anger at GTA going to 360 as well and not having a hub being made for PS2 which was its first system and made it what it is.

Everything you said is true, but when do you think they should stop making game for PS2? Don't we live in the next generation world? What the point of buying a 360 or PS3, well the game developer are still focusing on last generation console? Don't people buy these system so they can have new feature never bought out by game developer until now? If so, that defeat the purpose of a 360/ PS3 because next gen owner will still be limited by PS2 limitation.

I agree that eventually there has to be a stoppage point, but it won't be this year. When the next-gen consoles become more 'affordable' to people, they'll stop the PS2 stuff.

Plus, it's only SVR that's still giving PS2 love.

I'm glad it's still being made on the ps2, as its my only console, but by the end of the year I should have a new one, however, from a business standpoint...why in the hell would you stop making them on the most popular console, the one that sold most last year, and the console that's still(every other month or so) outselling its predecessor(ps3). Once the PS2 version stops selling more than any other version, and the next gen console get enough sold, then they'll stop making em for the ps2, I'd except the last SD on the ps2 to be SDvsRAW2010, by then most gamer will have a next gen console....

No matter what people complain about for SvR2008, I think we should agree that the most annoying thing in the game was the complete lack of SENSE! So I star in a movie, and it leads to an injury? I need to take a rest, and my popularity drops by 15 points? THAT is what made the game's WWE 24/7 mode so poor.

Another way which the THQ makers show that they lack intelligence is the sudden end of storylines. I work my ass off over a month to become No.1 Contender (in the game), and then I suddenly feud with Roddy Piper for a film role? That's pretty f*cked up!

besides old/outdated/bad gameplay and seasonmode the main thing that pissed me off the most was the BUGS/GLICTHES!!!!way way too much of them

Yeah I pretty much agree with you about the lack of sense. I'm glad online is getting a new look i hate the way its currently set up.

I'm still wondering if wrestlers will have character specific storylines now with the 3 month season mode? It seems that would be doable with such a short season.

every year around wrestlemania they annocne the game and say it's going to have all theses features and then they "promise more features on top" and every year they never do it

so by this logic

this years game is basiclly SVR 2008 + bigger roster +create a finsiher + downalodable content + this little tag match update

Wow, I love how people are shitting on this game when we know so little about it. I can understand why people were upset about last years game but that is no reason to completely disregard this game all together. Not getting your hopes up about this game is just fine, but all I am reading is complaining about last years game and dragging it in to this discussion.
