Really looking forward to this game, especially afetr the addition of ECW.

am i the only person that would like 1 thread for discussion/wish list type posts and another for news? it'd be so convenient to have links to all the different interviews, articles, etc in 1 place without wading through posts.

can anyone with the xbox360 version of '07 comment on the CAWs, ie did they look super pixelated like the playstation version? i hated that in '06 and '07 on ps2. that'd be reason enough for me to buy an xbox (that at gta4).

-WWE 24/7 seems like it's going to be really great or really tedious with the daily activities. it will be fun to have training sessions to increase stats, but i hope it's not required because that will just take away from the fun for me. i hope they don't do autograph sessions like nascar 05. i saw a friend playing that game and the whole thing is pushing the right button at the right time in rythym.
-i'd like to see 24/7 be like the current madden superstar mode. every season of the game there are certain things you need to do to increase your chances of being a hall of famer, and after however many seasons you play you get put in the hall of fame if you mount up the stats.
-i hope the storylines are much better. some of them in '07 weren't bad, but when you get to the magic wand storyline with candice michelle you just want to break the game in half.
-they said they are going to have "ECW arenas" so hopefully they actually have a small venue ala the hammerstein ballroom, rather than the awful ONS arena from '07.
-great to hear that they are completely re-doing all the animations. hopefully they add in more moves as well.

I agree, i loved Slobber Knocker mode, why it was taken out the game i is a question mark to me, very fun match to play, i mean beating the crap out the roster in one big continues like match, how can that not be fun? I hope its added back in this year.

I also hope FYF/Bra & Panties match is left out again this year, pointless match and it shouldn't of been added in the series to begin with imo, so i just hope the match stay's out this year like last year.

Well with the addition of ECW to the roster, does anyone else think they may add like, 1 or 2 ECW legends?

Because I know for a fact, that I would mark the fuck out, to play as Terry Funk.

Well at the moment there not even sure if they will include legends this year but i would love it if they put Terry Funk in this year's game.

Lol, they WILL include legends. Trust me.

They always say that in the early interviews. Every year. That they can neither deny, or confirm that they will be included.

But seriously, they will be included as always. THQ realize they're one of the main things people look forward to every single year.

i hope they include the slobber knocker mode in i liked playin that alot. I dont understand why they took it out. I also hope they put it new ecw weopans in like barbed wire and new matches like extreme elimination chamber and hopefully better ai system and better season mode

ECW Legends? I'd say either Terry Funk or Mike Awesome would be fucking brilliant if they were included. Both were majors in ECW back in those days.

Here's another small thing, but would add actually quite a bit of realism if done right. Realistic reversal styles.

A perfect example of a non-realistic reversal, well, hm, let's see. In SVR2007, someone like Khali, Show, Kane, or Undertaker, would backflip out of a german suplex if they reverse it. And it's been like this for all Smackdown games if I recall.

Now, this shouldn't be in SVR2008. Someone like Khali or Kane shouldn't be doing the same reversals that cruiserweights do. Their reversals for all moves should show their strength and power like in real life, and not their magical ability to do a backflip.
