I'm taking it upon myself to make this now, as we're starting to get much more info on the game and some new screens. We also have a more set release date, which is May.

Post all news on the game, and all screens of the game, in this thread, and this thread only. Also discuss the game in here. Any threads outside of this thread about the game will be closed by myself, or Fail.

This is the first pro wrestling video game associated with a major promotion other than WWE since WCW shutdown in 2001. The game is scheduled to be released in May for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and Playstation 2.

Both Samoa Joe and AJ Styles have spent a lot of time with Midway producers fine-tuning all the details of the game. So far the following as been confirmed:

- The Impact video game will feature 20 TNA performers that are all customizable within the game. Top names on the game include Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Sting, Christian Cage, Jeff Jarrett, Rhino, Abyss, and AJ Styles.

- Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, Sting, and Jeff Jarrett will be featured on the cover of the game.

- The Six-Sided ring will be included in the game and will feature the TNA specialty matches The Ultimate X, The King of The Mountain, and tag team matches and Fatal Four Ways. Midway is teasing that the game will feature "Online Tournaments".

- A story mode will be included into the game that is said to be similar to WWE video games. Story mode will allow players to create and choose a career path based on decisions that they take during the storyline. Gamers will be able to choose the look of their character as well as their managers who will specialize in different fighting styles.

- Mini games will be included in the game as they will be played to help enhance a character's appearance and abilities as well as unlock hidden features in the game.

- There will also be a Create A Wrestler mode where you will be able to create your very own performer.

Wooo yah! Impact thread, awesome.

The game should be awesome, but there are only 20 wrestlers in it which sucks, but hopefully it will have a lot of features to make up for it.

Those two screens are flat out amazing. Seriously, wow'ing. Christian especially in that last picture.

Can't wait to see more wrestlers.

The 20 character limit definitely hurts the game. I honestly don't see the graphics being as good as those screenshots claim. Don't see this game being "great" either. Probably "ok".

If anything, the game will look even better, not worse. Screens always look worse that the moving game.

The game looks awesome so far. 20 characters doesn't bug me there are only about 40 active male wrestlers on the roster now if that. Minus people you never show up, I think it could be a pretty nice roster. The main ones that have been announced are awesome. Im hoping to see a lot of X-division guys, if MCMG aren't on there ill be disappointed.

Styles should be pretty fun to play as.

I've always wanted to do a bunch of the moves the guys pull of in TNA, in a Smackdown game. But that's the thing; it's a Smackdown game, so there is barely any. It'll be nice change in gaming and roster/move wise.

game looks incredible, and it's on the new unreal engine so it has endless potential. # of wrestlers doesn't bother me because they don't really have more than 20 big names i'd care to play with. that means more disc space for other more important things than the likes of shark boy and havoc.

The 20 star limit doesn't really bother me unless Alex Shelley is not in the game. I really wanted to play as Shelley and I hope he is included. I have been waiting for a TNA game for ahwile and I can't wait to play.
