It kind of has a wcw mayhem/backstage assault thing going on...thats not a good thing. They should have gotten the guys who were the main programers on the good WWF THQ games on the N64 "No mercy" they went on to make the Def Jam Vendetta games with their own company.

It will probably get an average review score of around 6.7 from critics on IGN...Thats my guess at least.

The game really does look good graphically, let's just hope it delivers in the gameplay dept.

I was hoping for some KOTM or Ultimate X footage but I guess that's something we'll have to wait closer to the release date for.

BTW have we gotten word on secret characters, 6 sides of steel, or a create-a-ppv mode?

Based on who's confirmed already and if they give us atleast 25 characters, I would say these would fill out the roster.

every review site that has played the early version of the game has loved it. i don't know where you are drawing comparisons to the bad wcw games from, but if you read any of the articles you will see that their goal was to focus on great gameplay like no mercy and the japanese games from the same developers that preceeded it. why you would guess what kind of reviews the game will get before it's even 75% done is beyond me.

Yeah the review I read from 1up said that they had to literally "rip the controllers out of our hands."

That's means that they must be doing something right.

Didn't they say the cutoff for the roster was January? So we can assume that Booker will almost cetainly be in the game.

I really hope they don't skimp out on the amount of people in the game. I know they have said around 25 but I would be much happier with 30-35.

Also, will there be a create-a-ppv moder or event mode? I think this is something essential to keep the appeal of the game over a long period of time cause the career mode they have lined up sounds kinda out there.

yeah hopefully they get booker in the game, as well as the guys getting attire updates. alternate attires would be great, too.

I would count on Booker being the game, almost a certainty I would say. Yeah I would love atleast 3-4 attires per guy but atleast 2 would be very reasonable.

Someone on the Midway Forum said the roster could be as big as 40, which I highly doubt but obviously would be fantastic if it were that big.

I just wanna know about the create an event mode. I like the idea of building your own cards and stuff, it would keep me interested in the game for alot longer.

BTW, with Senshi leaving in January he probably will be cut from the final roster. Kind of a shame, he was character I was looking forward to playing with.
