The best thing to do is download the demo, and see what you think of it.
If you like it buy it, if you dislike it, dont buy it.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

Well, here we go. I have started a 1996 ECW game. So far, I have signed Kurt Angle to an open contract.

Here are the champions after zero shows:

ECW Champion: The Sandman

ECW Television Champion: Mikey Whipwreck

ECW Tag Team Champions: Cactus Jack and Mikey Whipwreck

I am afraid that WWF or WCW will sign Cactus because his overness is high, 81, for a Cult Promotion.

I may post the results of my first Hardcore TV, and my first large event, which is House Party.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

Never noticed there was a TEW thread in WF, this is cool, I've been playing the games since the EWR games and got into TEW when 2005 was out.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

Me and Booyaka 619 have recently booked Wrestlemania 24, and we both agreed that it was alot better than what it got rated.
Ill try get the card posted later on, but out 2 main events were, Randy Orton Vs Ric Flair - WWE Title Match.
The Undertaker Vs Edge - Hell In A Cell World Title Match.
Flair defeated Orton and The Undertaker defeated Edge to become 16-0 at Wrestlemania and end Edges Wrestlemania streak.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

Should I download the TEW 2005 or 2007 demo (if there is one for 2007)?

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

In my game, Gregory Helms, Austin Aries (GLPW Television Champion) and Roderick Strong formed a stable in my promotion, (Great Lakes Pro Wrestling) and they have been taking over pretty much like how nWo did in WCW. Paul London (GLPW Heavyweight Champion) aligned with Sabu and Steve Corino also aligned themselves just to take out Helms' stable.

The main event for my next PPV, Highway To Hell will be Helms' Stable facing those three in a Tables Elimination Match with the stipulations of if Helms' team wins, then Helms gets another title shot at London and if London's team wins, Corino and Sabu will battle it out to see who will become the number one contender.

Interesting, I know.

Go to the Grey Dog Software website and click on the TEW section and download it from there.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

What scenario's do you guys play most of the time? I just finished playing After The Fall, I tested for it (still very proud of that hehe) and now I've moved onto Death Of The WWE mod.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

I wouldn't waste my money on TEW. My scenario's that I'm currently using are the 1998 II and the Feb. 2000 Scenarios. But, if anybody out there could find a late '99 scenario, like when Triple H became a main eventer, but before he married Stephanie, that would be great.
