I know a lot of you people playing EWR (I say know but I don't really "know" I just guess) are not into TEW because you see booking shows as too complicated, taking too much time, yadda yadda, well fear not, TEW2013 will help you out with the newest feature:

#8: Assistant Booker

New to the booking screen is the Assistant Booker pop-up.

This new section allows the user to quickly add up to ten matches to the show. For each of the potential matches there are two options, Type Of Match and Level Of Match. The Type Of Match is selected from the usual selection (1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, etc), while Level Of Match is Main Event, Upper Midcard, etc.

Once the user has set up those two options for as many of the ten slots as he or she wants, simply clicking Create Matches has the Assistant Booker AI automatically try and put together matches for each. The AI only uses wrestlers who are eligible to be on the show (obviously) and who aren't already working on the card, and does not include road agent notes (everything is left for the road agent to handle automatically, in the same way that the player does not need to fill them in) or title matches. Everything else (assigning referees and road agents, appropriate lengths, naming the segment, etc, etc) is handled automatically.

Where possible, the Assistant Booker will use proper tag teams, and will strictly follow face \ heel logic unless the promotion does not have a disposition split.

The AI gives a warning message to the player if any of the matches could not be made - this could happen, for example, if you asked it to make a main event match but there were no main eventers available and no suitable upper midcarders to fill in for them.

The created matches are automatically added to the booking grid. From that point on, they can be treated exactly the same as if they'd been created by the player; they can be modified, moved, deleted, etc.

There is no limit on how many times the Assistant Booker can be used, nor are there any penalties.

The Assistant Booker therefore allows cards to be put together quicker, while still allowing the user to step in and change anything he or she does not like.

My RTWM has been amazing so far, 1 week away from EC and my past two RAW's have been A rated overall and I had 3 A* segments on my last Smackdown.

Colt Cabana is amazing for me, every single match he has has been rated A and the guy has everything. He's only a lower midcard but he is going to be moving up after Wrestlemania.

so i just got into this game again, really enjoy it i always hoped that universe mode was going be as good as these two games but it never happended wouldn't it be epic if they added ewr based storylines and matches but instead you get to see the storylines and play the matches.

In my TEW game, I just had to ditch my second weekly TV show "EuroClash" for a number of reasons:

A) The language barrier in European countries made booking angles very difficult, they'd bomb if they featured any English speaking.

B) The European market is in a tailspin (something like E for economy, and D for wrestling industry) and I was lucky to draw crowds of 1,000.

C) Bringing guys like Flair, Jarrett, Batista and Angle (just for starters) to 2 TV shows a week, where one doesn't draw, was killing me financially and it had only been a month.

D) Booking 2 shows a week makes the game go so damn slowly.

So I talked to the good folks at the Extreme Sports channel and they were nice enough to let me cancel the contract outright. Phew.


In other news, on my latest edition of FSW Excel it was Christopher Daniels' last night with the company before committing totally to TNA. How did I treat the former UK Heavyweight Champion?

Well first I had him job to Australian newcomer Ryan Eagles in the pre-show, clean, and in 4 minutes. After that I did this:



And so ends the career of Daniels in FSW. It all had to go on the pre-show because it was a real packed show so only the good folks in Newport Leisure Centre will ever see it
