Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

I looked up Dr. Cube to see if he was actually any good in the ring, and I found this. Hmm.

I'm not surprised considering the Kings of Wrestling was such a successful tag team. Try putting them together, with decent opponents they can consistently put on ****1/4+ matches.

I didn't realise he'd wrestled for Chikara, he fits in nicely there, they should book him more often. That was a pretty funny clip too.

Here's 7 seconds of the great Dr. Cube dancing his way into the hearts of wrestling fans everywhere. Or something like that.

Beginning to think we should rename this the Dr. Cube Appreciation thread. At the very least he needs a smilie, if Pope can have one then anyone can.

I think we need a few appreciation threads. A Mike Knox one, a Dr. Cube one and a Vince Russo one, most notably. But yes, he should be utilized more by CHIKARA, and he definitely deserves a smilie.

Time for the :cube petition, methinks.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

I've been on TEW for nearly the past hour and all I've been doing is adding locations into the game database. It's gonna be worth it though as now I finally have a lot more variety into where I can go in the UK, particularly in Wales and the South West of England.

Acorn Arts Centre in Penzance, Cornwall - FSW Revolution is coming to you, tonight!

Been there, actually seems like a plausible place for a wrestling show. Although I can't imagine Flair, Batista and Jarrett will be happy about playing a show in front of about 100 Cornishfolk in a tiny hall down a backalley next to a Co-op and a butchers. I could be wrong though.

And don't worry guys, as soon as Dr Cube inevitably turns face down the line, his merch sales will absolutely soar. I'm sure of it. My estimation is that they'll be double Mysterio and Ortons combined, possibly higher.

Damn, 100 people? I made it a "very small" arena so it holds 2,000 people Still I mainly did it because the South UK region had like 3 very small arenas and it's the size I'm currently at for my TV show so I made about 15 new locations for that region.

My FSW Revolution TV show has been re-branded to South West Revolution for the month or so as we head towards the Battle of the South West iPPV at the end of November in Bristol. Here's what the folks in Penzance got to see:

Got a B- overall so it was pretty good. Incredibly it didn't say I overused McIntyre considering he was in no less than five segments. I used Mahal twice at my last iPPV and that was ruled as overusing him. Probably because he was an opener though and Drew's a main eventer.

Yeah probably about that, the Hall for Cornwall in Truro, probably Cornwall's biggest venue, doesn't even hold 1000 people Still, nothing wrong with bending the truth a little haha.

And Cornwall enjoyed McIntyre. Was probably the Celtic heritage. Didn't go wild for Daniels though, although that was probably X Pac dragging him down, I feel.

X-Pac is essentially done with FSW. He turned up late (again) to the Penzance show, performed badly and his feud with Daniels has dragged the both of them down. His contract expires in 3 weeks and it won't be renewed.

I have some major news to report though. The biggest thing to happen to British wrestling possibly ever... FSW is coming to BBC Three!

I was stunned when they agreed to meet for talks and starting in December 2012 we'll be airing "FSW Excel" every Wednesday at midnight.

FSW Revolution will now become "FSW EuroClash" and tour around Europe, with the occasional show in the UK. I'm tempted to bring in many European stars and create a brand split as my first EuroClash special in Spain didn't go over incredibly well as the language barrier dragged all the promos down. I guess even if I bought in people from Spain, France, etc. it will still be challenging as they're probably only going to know their native language. I'll look into the idea anyway.

Exciting times for the company nonetheless. Just imagine it, you're watching BBC Three on a Wednesday night, you've enjoyed Family Guy and American Dad and then what's this...? Futureshock Wrestling! The new audience are gonna love it!

Tremendous! Although the name... FSW Excel? Not sure that's going to fly with the BBC Three execs.

BBC Three are all about appealing to a different demographic - youngly diverse and diversely young. And that audience wants you to bring FSW to TV in a way that retains all of it's original features, but is basically like Skins.

Call it FSW: Mad Shit and then they'll be bumping you up to primetime BBC Three in no time.
