It's sorely missed in EWR, I do enjoy taping Smackdown from the Butlins in Bognor Regis.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

I've been playing this so much with the July 2012 update and I love it! I have a TNA game going on and have Kevin Steen as World champ

No Scotty, you'll be in a CZW World Title program with Mike Knox whether you like it or not. You're filler for the Mike Knox/Takeshi Morishima feud and you have to accept that.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

The WWE update on TEW 10 is annoying because you have so many guys out at the start and I've fallen for the trap of signing at least 3 guys as upper midcarders only for my roster to be overpacked by the time everyone is fit.

Time to release/send some guys to development...

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

I've been playing a TEW05 game where I'm building up a British promotion and I'm seeing where it goes. It's been fairly difficult, I'm about 14 months in, our national popularity has only risen from C- to C and it's been quite hard building new stars, but we're slowly getting there.

I had some fairly big names for a while - Doug Williams, Magnus and Winter were with me for quite a while until TNA made their contracts exclusive, which means I'm currently stuck with the problem of William Regal (released by WWE about six months in) as my only star. I have Pac but can only use him on three shows a month so he's not really able to have a decent title run.

Anyone have any ideas of getting anyone really over? I can get people up to about C- with ease but beyond that I'm not having much luck.

All-time top five Mick Foley, Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, Davey Boy Smith, Eddie Guerrero.
Current top five Daniel Bryan, William Regal, Kevin Steen, Dean Ambrose, Kaitlyn

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

Does anyone else use this formula for tag team feuds to end them quickly?

Match 1. Team A guy 1 vs. Team B guy 1
Team A guy 1 wins after interference from Team A guy 2
Team B guy 2 run in for save

Match 2. Team A guy 2 vs. Team B guy 2
Team B guy 2 wins after interference from Team B guy 1
Team A guy 1 run in for save

Do that twice and the feud is ready to end. I always use it to get them over quickly if I don't want to drag it out.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

I'm running WWE on my EWR and I've got CM Punk (c) and Dolph Ziggler fueding for the WWE Championship and on SD! I've got Wade and Sheamus (c) feuding for the WHC.

I did a Champ v Champ match on SD to try and boost ratings and had Ziggler take out both Sheamus and Punk.

The main event of RAW was CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler (non-title) because of what he did on SD.

I had Sheamus cost Ziggler the match. This was the first match I had get over 3* (4.25*)

Dolph Ziggler vs CM Punk : Ziggler gets caught with a belly to belly suplex from CM Punk. Dolph Ziggler powers out of a CM Punk headlock. Dolph Ziggler scores with a back heel kick on CM Punk. The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. Dolph Ziggler scores with a standing spinebuster. Cover, but there's no one to count for Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler drops an elbow...but misses. Fate can be so cruel. Big dropkick by CM Punk, who got good elevation. CM Punk hits a delayed suplex on Ziggler. Hooks the leg for a two count. CM Punk hits a great swinging DDT on Dolph Ziggler. Hooks the leg for a close fall. Ziggler blocks the suplex attempt. CM Punk walks into a spike slam. Hooks the leg for a close fall. CM Punk kicks Dolph Ziggler in the gut to reverse the momentum. Sheamus comes running down the aisle and into the ring! Dolph Ziggler turns around. Sheamus spins Ziggler around. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick! Sheamus leaves the ring, the damage done! Pin, three count, it's over. CM Punk pins Ziggler. CM Punk remains in the ring, celebrating the victory. A ****1\4 rating, great bout.
