Yeah man a lot of the real world updates are terrrrible. Drastically over-inflated stats, workers or promotions missing, etc. Just have a scout about and you'll find the good ones. There were a couple of pretty decent ones last year, can't remember which ones in particular they were though.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread
In me WWE game Zack Ryder has changed his wrestling style from 'Normal Style' to 'Japanese Junior Style' any idea what that means? Im giving him a big push at the momment (current tag champions with Primo, also giving him singles matches on superstars) and just wondering what effect his style will now have.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread
Loving TEW2010 so far, poses challenges, love it. TEW05 was getting to easy for me. Well worth the money I paid for it.
On a side note:

Does anyone have a mod with the data from April or May 2011?

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread
Hi guys. I've been reading this site for a while, but just decided to sign up because of this thread. I'm a big fan of this game, and was looking for a TEW 2010 database to use.
I read a few of you recommend the Golden Age 1987 database, so I thought I would give it a try. I am playing as Jim Crockett Promotions, and have signed a number of youngsters, such as Sting, Bret Hart, The Rockers, The Undertaker, Terry Taylor, and The Steiner Brothers.
The game is going very well so far. I am in July 1987, and am about to book NWA The Great American Bash '87. My champions are as follows:
NWA World Heavyweight Championship (100 Prestige) - Ric Flair (Defences: 20)
NWA United States Heavyweight Championship (79 Prestige) - Kevin Sullivan (Defences: 8)
NWA World Television Championship (70 Prestige) - Bret Hart (Defences: 0) [Just beat Tully Blanchard on the last show]
NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship (60 Prestige) - The Undertaker (Defences: 7)
NWA World Tag Team Championship (70 Prestige) - The Midnight Express (Defences: 1) [Just unified with the NWA United States Tag Team Championship]
NWA Jim Crockett, Sr. Memorial Cup (89 Prestige) - Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard
I put Sullivan, Undertaker, and Paul Bearer in a stable together, The Dungeon of Doom. I'm not sure who else I should put in there.

Glad you're enjoying the game. I'm not really sure who to advise putting into that stable tbh. Maybe Vader or One Man Gang? They're both solid workers you'd be able to get for not too much cash, who could play a monster role quite nicely. But I spose if you've got Taker in there you might not need a monster. Ted DiBiase to finance the group perhaps? He's not too hard to get on PPA.
I'm loving my JCP game at the moment. The Horsemen have turned face and are trying to face down Vader, who's been squashing people left, right and centre as NWA champ. The tag division is looking great, with the Super Powers, the Horsemen, the Midnight Express, the Road Warriors, the R&R Express, the Fabulous Freebirds, the Blade Runners and the Rockers all tearing it up every week. And Ricky Steamboat and Nick Bockwinkel are tearing the house down in my main events, with Bockwinkel playing the ageing vet desperate to prove he's still got it against the peak-condition Steamboat.
Also, does anyone know why Bambi Killer got banned?

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread
I tried to get Steamboat, but he wouldn't sign with me. He wanted a short-term deal, but he wouldn't give up his exclusive PPA deal with the WWF to get it.
Did you make yourself the owner?
