You'll get used to it. I'm getting antsy for a new TEW because I feel like I've actually started to exhaust the possibilities of what I can do with 2010 now. Got about 8 different games that have run for a year or more, with both real world and Cornellverse promotions, usually running a different promotion with a different product in each one. I've just started a WWE 2004 game which I'm loving, so I think I may just try and make this one run for as long as I can before I get bored.
Trust me, a few weeks of sporadically playing any TEW game and you'll get the knack. It's just about learning some of the shortcuts (i.e. using unchained storylines as opposed to existing storylines which can take ages off booking your shows, how to use road agent notes to get the results you want, etc.).
I guess I'll start off by downloading iDOM 2010 for it. The last iDOM for EWR was great, a lot of fun. Maybe learning with that scenario will take away from the depth since everything doesn't have to be too realistic.
