Default Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

My current NXT roster (not the way the show is, just a third brand):

BxB Hulk
Colt Cabana
Davey Richards
Dragon Kid
El Generico
Jay Lethal
Kenny King
Kevin Steen
Naruki Doi
Richie Steamboat
Roderick Strong
Teddy Hart
The Amazing Red
YAMATO

My original plan was an actual NXT Season 5, which would have been:

El Generico
Pro: Rey Mysterio

Davey Richards
Pro: Bryan Danielson

Jay Lethal
Pro: Kofi Kingston

Richie Steamboat
Pro: John Morrison

YAMATO
Pro: Yoshi Tatsu

Roderick Strong
Pro: Dolph Ziggler

Kenny King
Pro: Shad Gaspard

Kevin Steen
Pro: Tyson Kidd

That's a good roster. I'm going to bring Epico and Hunico up after WrestleMania to help my revamped tag team division. (KOW, MCMG, Briscoes ftw.)

Looks like a decent card, bro. I'll take Trips, Jericho, and Regal.

So in my current WWE game, I signed Mike Sydal. I'm going to have him form a tag team with his brother. I'm thinking Evan and Eric Bourne. Any better suggestions?

Vengeance/SummerSlam pre-notes:

- The wrestling industry continues to weaken
- NWA:TNA become a global company and sign free agents Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Jay Briscoe, Psychosis, Hardcore Holly and Funaki to written contracts
- Sean Waltman, Buff Bagwell, B.G. James and others previously working for NWA:TNA on verbal deals make the switch to written contracts
- RoH sign former WWE cruiserweight champion Paul London to a written contract
- TJ Wilson debuted in WWE, defeating Stevie Richards in his first-ever match
- Paul Heyman (former Smackdown GM) returned to the RAW brand as the manager of a new WWE talent, Abyss
- Kane is "stolen" from Smackdown back to RAW by RAW GM Eric Bischoff
- Brock Lesnar suffers a horrific knee injury, taking him out of action for sixteen months, and is forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship (ironically, just as his feud with Shawn Michaels had just started again; a few months prior Michaels was champion and also got injured). Shawn Michaels wins a 20 Man Battle Royal to become new World Heavyweight Champion, lastly eliminating Kane
- Big Show suffers a horrific knee injury, taking him out of action for sixteen months

Cruiserweight Championship
Rey Mysterio def. Jamie Noble to win the title

The Angles (Kurt and Eric) def. The World's Greatest Tag Team

World Tag Team Championship
TLC Match
Matt Hardy and Rob Van Dam def. The A.P.A, The Dudleyz and Christian & Lance Storm to retain the titles

Cage Match
Eddie Guerrero def. Edge

World Heavyweight Championship
Shawn Michaels def. Kane to retain the title. After the match Kane chokeslammed HBK

Randy Orton def. The Rock with help from Batista

WWE Championship
John Cena def. The Undertaker to win the title and becomes the first man in history to hold the United States and WWE championships at the same time. After the match Taker assaults the referee in anger

I like the card. I love the fact that Rey is where he should be: the undercard, the Cruiserweight division.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So here is my current Tag Team Division. Looking for opinions on how it looks.

- Air Bourne (Eric and Evan Bourne) (Eric Bourne = Mike Sydal = Evan Bourne's brother)
- Joe Hennig and Husky Harris
- Lethal Consequences (Jay Lethal and Austin Watson)
- Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov
- The All Night Express (Kenny King and Rhett Titus)
- The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe)
- The Dudebusters (Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta)
- The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) [WWE Tag Team Champions]
- The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley)
- The Nexus (Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel)
- The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)
- World-1 (BxB Hulk and Naruki Doi)

I'm also planning to sign Brett DiBiase (The Fortunate Sons) and Epico/Hunico (Los Aviadores)
Is that too many teams? Not enough?

And does anyone have any name suggestions for Marella/Kozlov, Harris/Hennig, and the Bournes?
