You can start your own promotion from scratch even if you don't magic it in with editor beforehand, on TEW 2010. You just need to make sure that your avatar has at least "High" reputation at the start. You can choose from four different levels to begin with, from easy to hard, with various amounts of money, prestige and popularity involved - the toughest will give you 0/0/0, or as near as makes no odds, whilst the easiest sets you up as a cult company about to break onto the national awareness.

Of course, if you're not using TEW 2010 this might all be irrelevant to you. But give it a try, regardless. Setting up my own company in whatever timezone I'm playing in is always one of my favourite things to do on TEW.

Really trying to figure out who I can have join my World Elite stable. It currently consists of Eric Young (w/ Trish Stratus as his manager), Desmond Wolfe (w/ Chelsea), Paul Burchill (w/ Katie Lea), Homicide (w/ Salinas) and Doug Williams (w/ Jemma Palmer). I might bring Wade Barrett into the mix to team with Burchill so I can get a tag team division going. I'm trying to bring some other countries into the mix though. Alex Koslov is a name I've been considering, and Jushin Liger and Hiroshi Tanahashi are being considered too. I've got a brand split coming up in November or somewhere around that time, so I'll split the stable then and have them dominate both brands.

Default Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

My modern WWE game glitched out last night, so I've had to ....rt to a backup from a while ago, losing almost a year of progress, including the foundations of the WCW show and Cruiserweight division I'd put so much time into. Motherfucker.

Nevertheless, I enjoy this too much to abandon it, so I've picked it up again. Just booked Summerslam 2010 and actually got a better grade than I did the first time, and in fact for any PPV in the game time I lost other than Backlash 2011. Proved exactly how much difference some popularity-based angles and a bit of investment in celebs and special sets can make. It was also the first event I've ever booked that I let run to 4 hours, as my mid-card has been very busy recently. The show ran:

1) Dolph Ziggler def. Kofi Kingston (c) to win the IC title - 77
2) Christian def. Cody Rhodes - 65
3) Jericho and Barrett (c) def. the Hart Dynasty to retain the UTT - 80
4) Mr Kennedy def. Evan Bourne - 71
5) Rey Mysterio def. Carlito, Kendrick and Danielson in a ladder match to win the vacant Cruiserweight title - 82
6) Kane def. Luke Gallows - 82
7) The Miz (c) def. John Morrison to retain the US title - 81
8) Matt Hardy def. Drew McIntyre - 78
9) The Undertaker def. CM Punk - 81
10) Triple H def. Sheamus in a Last Man Standing match - 88
11) Jeff Hardy def. Jack Swagger (c) for the WHC - 83
12) John Cena (c) def. Randy Orton and Edge in a triple threat match for the WWE title - 85

OVERALL GRADE FOR SHOW - 91

Ah so in 2010 it isn't grades anymore but percentages?

I really wanna get it but,

1. Spent 30 pound on Monday

2. Don't play TEW ALL that much as you seem to be, heck I'd still get a lot out of it like with their MMA game and Wrespri 2.

I kinda want to get 2010 too, but I feel like I'm gonna get bored of this game soon. Not that I'm getting bored of it yet, but I don't feel like I'm gonna be playing this forever, or at least not long enough to constitute me buying a newer version.

You get the choice with 2010. I've actually downloaded a mod from the Greydog Software forums which shows you both percentage and grade in the window. Very useful.

Great news as WWE has once again bounced down to International level, and I was able to snag CM Punk from their roster. Best signing ever, or at least so far. I'm also trying to get Taker, but holy shit does he want a lot.

EDIT: And I just signed him too. My roster is getting too big. I'm now dead set on starting a second brand after Bound for Glory. Don't know what I'm going to do with all of these guys, so it should be interesting.
