Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread
So folks since we're talking about TEW and such and our games I've decided to show you what's going on in mine. If you care, cool, if you don't then ignore this and continue on!
(Using the FutureLegend 2000 mod)
-I may have added too much detail, but I think it's pretty exciting-
WCW World Heavyweight: Chris Jericho
WCW United States Champion: Berlyn
WCW Tag Team Champions: TNT (Scott Steiner/DDP)
*Cruiserweight has been retired*
Forever Young: Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Diamond Dallas Paige
Misfits in Action: Booker T, Chris Kanyon
Special Enforcement Agency: Jeff Jarrett, Bryan Clark, Brian Adams, Eric Bischoff, Don Harris, Ron Harris
Starrcade Major Matches:
WCW Heavyweight Championship:
Chris Jericho (c) vs Kurt Angle
Backstory: Jericho came in during the 3rd month of the mod, aligned with Hogan who was fueding with Nash/Hall/Steiner/DDP. Jericho helps him for a few PPV's until he becomes the #2 superstar in the company. Jericho won the title, and Hogan and him were celebrating when Nash/Hall attacked. Kurt Angle appeared and saved Hogan/Jericho and kept doing so until New Blood Rising where he turned on Hogan/Jericho to join Forever Young. Forever Young then went after Hogan while Jericho went after Sting (in Sting's retirement match-he'll be back in 5 months he's taking a break) After Hogan was knocked out by Nash/Hall (Hogan was "injured" but really I gave him time off) Forever Young is now going after Jericho who may have a surprise of his own at Starrcade.
WCW United States Championship:
Berlyn (c) vs Eddie Guerrero
Backstory: Berlyn won the championship the very first show and has held it for an impressive 7 months. However, the newcomer Eddie has been eyeing the title for some time and after a path that had him face Goldberg, KroniK and 3 count, he withstood them all and finally is getting his chance against Berlyn at Starrcade.
WCW World Tag Team Titles:
TNT (c) vs The Front Line
Backstory: Booker had been looking for a tag partner until he finally picked Kanyon (after Kanyon defeated Jarrett in first blood contest to win Booker's open invitation) Booker and Kanyon then went on to lead "Misfits in Action" however suffered through some troubles after DDP/Steiner pretended to recruit MI and Major into Forever Young. Forever Young then stabbed MI Smooth, Major Stash in the backs who then attempted to rejoin Misfits in Action, but Booker/Kanyon didn't want them anymore. Booker/Kanyon however were furious at Steiner/DDP and now will get their revenge at Starrcade.
Steel Cage Match:
Goldberg vs Jeff Jarrett
Backstory: Originally Jarrett was World Champion, but after losing his championship to Goldberg on the very first Nitro he went crazy with rage and began attacking Goldberg every show until finally Goldberg lost against Jericho (who ended up taking his gold) During that match Jarrett ran in with his new friends (Kronik and the Harris Brothers) who punished Goldberg and left him bleeding without the belt. It was announced the Nitro after that Bischoff had formed the task force to take out Goldberg. Goldberg disappeared for a few weeks only to screw Jarrett out of a #1 contender's match. Jarrett, obviously furious, challenged Goldberg for a match at Starrcade. After weeks of fighting and the Special Enforcement Agency interfering Flair made a surprise return and stated that the match would now be held in a Steel Cage.
Eric Bischoff vs Ric Flair
Backstory: Obviously building off the Steel Cage match Flair announced for Goldberg/Jarrett it was then announced by Flair that it would be himself vs Bischoff in a street fight for the Authority Figure job at Starrcade!
I Quit Match:
Kevin Nash vs Scott Hall
Backstory: Hall/Nash/DDP and Steiner all started Forever Young, but after Scott Hall failed to beat Jericho, (after losing 3 ppv's in a row) on Nitro, Nash grew tired of Hall. During a match between Hall and Mike Awesome, Nash came out of the stands and attacked Hall much to the surprise of the live audience ending Hall's stay in Forever Young. After weeks of beatings Scott Hall lay in the hospital and challenged Kevin Nash to a match at Starrcade in an I Quit match. Much to the chagrin of Forever Young Nash accepted the challenge. Two weeks before Starrcade Hall returned and reeked havok on Nash, attacking him at will, and has continued to do so leading up to Starrcade.
WWF has been in a tailspin and has lost a ton of money. After losing in the ratings they have released some wrestlers and their developmental companies have been let go. They are on life support and have been offered a buy out by WCW.
ECW have also been struggling, but have no accepted a buy out yet. Despite the fact that they barely produce enough to stay afloat they remain proud and have not yet admitted that they may be closing soon.
EPW Matt Jones
(1) EPW Primetime Champion
It's advantageous to be better than the other guy.
The fact that Poueff is even getting booked is disgraceful. Unless we're squashing him every single week forever, fuck that ******
