I think this is where you can download data updated to June 2008.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

World anyone like to play a Extreme Warfare Revenge, Fantasy League. It works by each of us drafting a superstar one by one until we got out rosters. I will post, who can pick from later. One member will do Smackdown and the other Raw. You can use development superstars, and draft then up to your brand. We do not need "Staff" like refs, road agents [etc.] and I will explain later. Oh, and any main superstars [not development] not drafted, after the draft will be fired from both brands. Not sent from development, but fired completely. After the draft you may sign 3 other superstars not currently with the WWE, as we do a draft format for that also. Note, they have to be un-employed and under 80 over. I don't want any AJ Styles, Samoa Joe's or even Brian Danielson's. Each show can have 4 titles. They are your choice. If you want any other titles you must fire 3 superstars [per extra title] in order to gain a 5th, 6th, and so on. Once we get the new rosters, you will be asked to put on a fantasy PPV, each month, using your best talent. Yes titles can be on the line. Post a back story, for each feud, a card, and results. We then have people vote, on which PPV they like better. The more people that like yours better, the more points you get, and the better chance you have of leading the standings. And we are going to do this fun thing, right in this forum. You can do trades when ever you want, but of coarse the other person has to agree. Also you can draft a wrestler, and sign them to your development. Each Raw, & Smackdown will both have their own development. So can you can sign a development superstar, and bring them up to the main roster [during the draft], or sign that superstar, but put them in your own development. Also, all development superstars left, after the draft that weren’t signed, we will have a draft for that also. After the draft you can sign 10 members, who are un-employed to send to your development. You may sign as many un-employed free agents as you want after the draft. But it will cost you, 3 superstars. Ok finally. Sorry to get you all mixed up. Oh and even though this is a "EWR Fantasy" you don't use EWR at all. You make up the PPV's. We just use EWR for the rosters. Oh and by the way, there is one thing I not you, I use EWR for. I simulate [have Sophie do the shows], and each month I update you with any injuries, and for how long. When someone is injured, you cannot use them, until their injury is over. Just like real life. Oh and here are the rounds.

Round 1 - Drafting WWE Talent
Round 2 - Drafting Any Left Development Talent
Round 3 - 3 Superstars To Main Brand [Bust be under 80 Over]
Round 4 - 10 Guys To Your Development
Round 5 - GM, Commentators, Ring Announcer, Titles ,and current champions [can be vacant].

Managers only come with superstars if it says so. Some people are missing, as they will be up for Round 5. Tell me if I forgot anyone.

Oh and by the way, I'm doing Smackdown. Also, there is no ECW. So I just need one person to do Raw, and we can get this bad boy going. You can also change any superstar, that you drafted, alignment, gimmick, or name.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

It would be great if you could do ECW, I would love taking charge of them.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

It's not a bad idea. But you think we have enough main talent for 3 brands? And dude why aren't you answering my PM's. I don't mean to spam, but we really need members. I don't know maybe it could work out. I mean with inter brand PPV's. I'm not sure.

In general just larger more comprehensive, and more realistic with alot more features

I'd just take a look at some of the posts on the Official forum (link above) to get an idea really.

Yeah you can set it at different levels and choose what punishment to give ranging from doing nothing to firing them.

I've got random drug tests every show and i occasionally do comprehensive testing of the whole roster and every damn time Warrior fails a test, he must have failed 5 or 6 freakin times in two months.
Do you think it's a good buy?

Yeah its pretty sweet, their is some pretty good new features that have been added which really enhance the gameplay, though i cant really judge it properly at the moment as i dont like playing with the fictional data so i'm waiting for decent mod to come out, theirs a 1992 mod coming out soon which looks like its going to be great. I'm currently playing a pretty poorly done 97 mod playing as Head Booker of OMEGA at the moment though this mod doesnt really do the game justice.

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

Ok sorry to spam this forum to death, but I made a decision on EWR Fantasy. TF you can do ECW, but like real life, you won't have as many wrestlers, the same with "big name’s". So if your ok with it, you will draft, once every 3 rounds. So like Round 3, 6, 9, 12 etc. Instead of having the Batista's and Taker's in ECW. And instead of 4 titles, you will have 2. Is that alright?

Re: EWR/TEW Discussion Thread

TEW 08 is leaps and bounds ahead of EWR in terms of gameplay. I love the game and have been playing it a lot since I bought it. The Cornellverse is engrossing and feels alive with how the AI books. The internet page makes it feel like a community and keeps you up on all the latest. Also it's much more challenging as the computer will put on great shows to compete with yours and will actively try and steal talent. Honestly the money is more than worth it.
