Fire Pro Wrestling - Questions from someone looking to play for first time..

I'm looking to play the Fire Pro Wrestling series, and have a few questions if anyone would be kind enough to answer:
  • Simply, first what would I need to do to play an English version?
  • Which version is the best to play?
  • I rarely play computer games apart from No Mercy mods, is it easy to get into?

That's it basically, I'm sure I'll have more questions if I get round to playing it, but these are just things that have put me off playing them so far. I could google, of course, but would prefer some responses I could interact with.

I tried searching here for a similar thread, but my Wrestling Games subforum only goes back 2 pages and 20 or so threads, none fit what I ask.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Fire Pro Wrestling - Questions from someone looking to play for first time..

Are you playing on an emulator? Make sure you get a good up to date save. Visit a Fire Pro forum if you want edits, tips, etc. I'm a HUGE fan of FPR (the most recent one and best one) but I don't have time to answer the inevitable tons of questions that a new player would have. Returns is a great game with great customization. You can edit the AI to make your CAWS wrestle like IRL. You can create up to 500 wrestlers and can edit the 327 that come with the game. Have fun bro. Hope you find some tips on a Fire Pro forum.
EDIT: Returns is the only one apart from the GBA ones that had an American release so there's another reason to play it.
