I don't know. I won't expect much from them yet. Granted, I hope and I'm pretty sure I'll be surprised, but this is their first game on the task.

2K16 is where I'll be rising the bar by a long shot. I'm expecting some huge upgrades to the creation suite. I mean, huge upgrades. Their PlayerStore thing they did in the NBA games is pretty convenient.

My fear with them saying "We're not a fighting game with WWE characters featured." Or whatever is, are they going to be ignoring other companies?

They can't just leave out certain moves or CAW items because they're not from the WWE. It would be total shit.

Well, It isn't a conventional fighting game is it? It's not Tekken or Street Fighter. I think that's what he's getting at.

Now that Visual Concepts has a more hands on role with development (And a lot less Yukes involved), this has the potential to become something really awesome. I've wanted 2K to get the rights to make wrestling games for years now and I'm hyped that they finally get the chance to add that level of quality from their NBA series into a hopefully great WWE game.

The WWE games were synonymous with the quality of the product that was on television. The last game I enjoyed was SVR 2006, its been stagnant for so long, the last few years just felt like they updated the roster and that's it. The change to 2K is something it has needed for a long time and I'm very hopeful.

I'm not even a big basketball fan but I can still enjoy the NBA 2K series so I'm sure its in good hands.

It's going to be the same ol' shit from 2K14, just updated graphics and improved gameplay that isn't noticeable.

Yeah, i'm being bitter.

Default Re: Official WWE 2K15 Thread

if you look at what visual concepts were able to achieve with the next gen version of NBA 2k14 on their first attempt, then i have high hopes for the graphics and the commentary, crowds ect. what i'm worried about is the gameplay, yukes is still behind it and sadly 2k needs their experience but it comes at a cost. idc how much they give it realistic match flow, if it feels like the same old game as the last 5 years then it will ruin the fun for me. you can also expect loads of bugs because they are implimenting a new design and trying new things, and they are doing all of that in just one year.

i'm still expecting it to be a huge ileap over WWE2k14 in certain areas but people will likely have more to complain about on the message boards. at least they got rid of cory ledesma, i guess that's a start. second thing i hope is that they stop overpricing the dlc to give you only bread crumbs.

CM Punk to be included Piper style and only as a superstar head. Lol. Not confirmed, but I'm thinking that's how they'll handle it.

- Sting is reportedly planned as this year's pre-order bonus for WWE 2K15. Apparently a lot of the game's bonus promotional material will be centered around Sting.

I don't think I'll waste my money on 2k15 until there is some major major changes in detail. Thank god THQ is no longer around, the lazy pricks.

Speaking of major changes, where is this John Cena 2k15/2k14 comparison picture?

- We noted before that the first four Superstars were confirmed for WWE 2K15 this past week at E3 in Los Angeles – Bray Wyatt, John Cena, Hulk Hogan and Cesaro. More news on WWE 2K15 is now coming out of E3 via GameInformer.com and Polygon.com. Here are some notes:

* Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Naomi, Cameron and AJ Lee are also now confirmed. So the updated roster is: Bray Wyatt, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Cesaro, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Cameron, Naomi and AJ Lee.

* 2K Sports is promising a much more polished game. One area that will be improved is motion captures. WWE actually sends an “official ring setter-upper” to make sure everything is by the book when motion captures are being filmed.

* WWE 2K15 will feature at least five times the animations of any previous WWE game.

* Visual Concepts is working on the game in a major role and one of their new goals is for gameplay to have a pacing similar to that of a real WWE event with matches having less of a free-for-all tone.

* Yukes is also working on the game but Visual Concepts is doing most of the work.

* Superstars will seem a lot more life-like in their movements and facial expressions.

* Visual currently has 90% of the WWE roster scanned in.

* Visual Concepts is also improving the commentary. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler have already recorded about 35 hours of new lines, most of them recorded together.
Enjoy
