As I don't plan on buying neither a PS4 nor an Xbox One anytime soon, I'd hope the focus on this game will be fixing the gameplay, the modes and commentary.
this, i'm excited after what i read. New engine, new commentators(not really, just the way, but still a change). One part who got my attention was
"In gameplay, Little didn't get into specifics but laid down the game's new goal: "We're not a fighting game featuring WWE superstars."
Visual Concepts wants matches to have a pacing similar to that of a real WWE event. Little concedes the basic impossibility of replicating something scripted, but has it as a goal anyway, just to give matches less of a free-for-all tone."
I don't know what they are planning but still
This is from Jared himself:
"I believe their reporter may have mixed up their Total Divas. The model and comparison presentation they're talking most definitely featured Naomi.
And to be clear about the confusion regarding which visual features make it across the consoles: lighting & rendering == all consoles. Face / Body scanning tech == PS4 and Xbox One. That said, you'll definitely be seeing model improvements if you're sticking to the older consoles, so no worries there!"
"When it comes to the older consoles, everyone is getting a makeover. Even some of the previous models that already looked spot on are being given subtle tweaks that go a long way, and the new lighting techniques really help give the visuals a boost. Naturally, the big next-gen reveal is the talk of the town, but we're looking forward to showing you all the current-gen version as well. "
