WCW/nWo Revenge.

Anyone remembers this game from the N64? Austin talked about it with Nash on one of hid podcasts, and I got me to look at some vids again from it on YT. It even is on the best selling list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...64_video_games.

Nash said during that episode, that it was the best selling N64 game ever in Japan.

Do you remember playing this game?

Re: WCW/nWo Revenge.

YES! Definately one of the greatest games ever made. Actually it was the first wrestling I ever played and really got me hooked on wrestling.

He does seem so out of place with Hogan, Nash and and Goldberg

Re: WCW/nWo Revenge.

I played it a couple of times, I always liked the WWF games more though. Don't know why.

I remember my dad renting it for me the day it came out. Such an awesome surprise. Really amazing game at the time. Juat doesn't hold up too well anymore like the other games because of the lack of a story mode.

Re: WCW/nWo Revenge.

Awesome game, I played a bunch of those THQ games back then, including WCW World Tour - I've probably lost hundreds of hours of my life, along with my buddies, just doing fatal 4 way matches and stuff lol. Those games were way ahead of their time. Anyone remember playing World Tour for like 4 hours straight just so you could unlock Joe Bruiser?

I like the WWF ones too, but I thought they should've taken the create a wrestler feature out. Once they added it in, you could just make your own wrestler and make him over powered, and you'd never end up using the regular ones again.

Not keeping it real in the streets

LOL, Joe Bruiser. World Tour had such badass unlockable characters. Randy Savage, DDP, Glacier, Wrath, Black Widow and Bruiser. Love that 1997 roster, more so than Revenge's roster.

Re: WCW/nWo Revenge.

I remember it. It was fantastic for its time, but it really pissed me off that sometimes a guy wouldn't go down until like the 3'rd finisher. Providing the template for the now overused current WWE main event style.

Episode 99 - Superhero Showdown Returns!

The much requested Superhero Showdown episode makes a return where we pit your favourite comic/movie/tv characters against each other to determine who's slighty better! Also we get into news of the new Civil War line-up, Star Wars The Force Awakens, Assassins Creed and undoubtably something else to do with whatever this podcast is about. Thanks for listening!
