I still remember the Christmas commercial where the guys are singing in the tune of "Jingle Bells", they're listing all the stuff they want and then they say "WCW vs NWO Revenge will be mine"

Back then, I actually preferred the N64 games over the PS1 and Dreamcast games. I fucking hated War Zone and ECW's versions of it. And Nitro sucked, too. But, World Tour, Revenge and WM 2000 were GOAT.
Don't forget No Mercy

During my childhood I would play this game for hours, still do. It's probably my most played game ever and is one of the reasons I've still got my N64 connected.

Damn right. Played those games for hours along with WrestleMania 2000, Super Smash Bros, and Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetal.

Also wish I still had my N64. Good times.

LOVED this game. No Mercy perfected it, but this was fantastic.

I remember as well not being a WCW fan and not having seen any shows since around 1992. There was a lot of "That's Diesel and Razor Ramon!" and it was my first time seeing Rey, Psycosis and Ultimo Dragon. Brilliant.

Pronounced it benoy-t for years as well haha

I loved it. This thread is giving me the urge to play it. My only problem with the game is that the damage control system is wrong. You had to put someone in a million finishers to beat them. I'm glad Wrestlemania 2000 corrected that and made the idea of a finisher much more realistic.

Sensational game. Loved playing it as a kid. The multi-man battle royals were so much fun.

Very true. It's a shame too, because I remember how in World Tour how generic the finishers looked, but in Revenge how all the finishers got revamped. Always annoyed me how sweet Nash's Powerbomb looked just for the guy on the receiving end to pop right back up after taking it. Some Ultimate Warrior shit right there.
