Welcome everyone to the matchups of the Not So New Year Snake Draft!

The following match is between:

Stevie SWAG, almost winner of the 1st Auction Draft

and

Greenlawler, token Classic Wrestling representative

RULES FOR VOTES YOUR COUNT (PLEASE FUCKIN' READ):

- You must give at least a brief but specific explanation IN THE THREAD
- You must vote on all cards in the HOLLYWOOD bracket
- Votes from Ricky Jerret and Greenlawler don't count

There's a reason why these rules are in place and it's been explained before but I'll repeat it again, it's to make sure it's fair for everybody. 'Campaigned for votes' are what killed the drafts back in 2013 because people felt like they were getting screwing by dodgy voting. So, that means no suspicious influx of votes that happen to be voting for only one match which I'll assume is just friends voting for friends. It doesn't take that much effort to follow the rules anyway so why not do it? Anyway...

That's about it. Good luck Stevie and Greenlawler! And EVERYBODY who participated in draft please vote. HOLLYWOOD and WOLFPAC. It's the least you can do.

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! WOLFPAC SEMIFINAL MATCH #2: RICKY JERRET VS GREENLAWLER

Stevie has some incredible matches here but the last seven matches of GreenLawler's card are spectacular(and the two at the beginning are top notch too).

Loved both cards here:

Though I think Greenlawler's top of the card is just a little stronger HBK/Sting, Angle/Koloff, Steamboat/Zayn are the matches that got Green my vote

Even though Sting/HBK is my favorite match between both cards, I gotta vote for Stevie's card for Roman/HHH/Benoit, Owen/Savage, and Punk/Rollins. Would love to those 3 matches.

This is a lot closer than I expected, given the respective rosters of each. Personally, I thought Greenlawler's final 2 matches blew STEVIE's main event matches out of the water. That said, I lean heavily towards STEVIE for the rest of the card, which had a nice use of stips as well as more wrestlers I feel I could be invested in. I think Greenlawler had a hell of a run and is a jam-up guy, but I'm going to have to go with the depth of STEVIE's card here.

STEVIE might win it all in honesty.

Ricky Steamboat vs Sami Zayn and Nikita Koloff vs Kurt Angle are the only matches I'd be interested in from Greenlawler's card, sadly. The rest just don't appeal to me. I still think an old-school wrestling draft would be interesting though.

STEVIE has a slew of great matches that I'd definitely watch:
Tyson Kidd (C) versus The British Bulldog
The Outsiders versus The New Age Outlaws
Brian Pillman versus Bray Wyatt
Owen Hart versus "Macho Man" Randy Savage (C)
CM Punk versus Seth Rollins (C)

I have to minus points on the main event being a sixty fucking minute ironman match though, bit of overkill for Punk, but I'd enjoy it nonetheless.

This is a tough one.

But ultimately Greenlawler has the match ups that stand out the most. Like yeah Hurricane/Aerostar and Orton/Ibushi would be solid contests but The Freebirds vs the fuckin' kings of AJPW, Angle vs Koloff. This is pretty much how the match up goes for the rest of the card including the main events with HBK/Sting, huge stars AND great workers vs Punk/Rollins where the lustre just doesn't compare.

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! WOLFPAC SEMIFINAL MATCH #2: RICKY JERRET VS GREENLAWLER

This one is super tough since there are matches I want to see on both cards.

Stevie has the triple threat, the Bray/Pillman match and the Iron Man match.

Lawler has Rhodes/Cena, Koloff/Angle, Joe/Eddie and Sting/HBK.

Lawler edged out Stevie a little in my opinion.

A couple of the matches on RJ's card are turn offs for me, and Pillman/Wyatt and Savage/Owen are the only matches I'd really want to see. Greenlawler has a more balanced card with more highlights like Steamboat/Zayn, Hansen/Taker, Nikita/Angle etc. so he gets my vote.
