Welcome everyone to the matchups of the Not So New Year Snake Draft!

The following match is between:

Ted, who has an untaggable name :tenay

and

Zombo, the host of the previous draft

RULES FOR VOTES YOUR COUNT (PLEASE FUCKIN' READ):

- You must give at least a brief but specific explanation IN THE THREAD
- You must vote on all cards in the HOLLYWOOD bracket
- Votes from Ted and Zombo don't count

There's a reason why these rules are in place and it's been explained before but I'll repeat it again, it's to make sure it's fair for everybody. 'Campaigned for votes' are what killed the drafts back in 2013 because people felt like they were getting screwing by dodgy voting. So, that means no suspicious influx of votes that happen to be voting for only one match which I'll assume is just friends voting for friends. It doesn't take that much effort to follow the rules anyway so why not do it? Anyway...

That's about it. Good luck Ted and Zombo! And EVERYBODY who participated in draft please vote. HOLLYWOOD and WOLFPAC. It's the least you can do.

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

TED:
-Austin vs Ambrose main event :mark:
-Steen vs Cactus Jark :mark:
-Triple threat deathmatch :mark: I don't understand why Ambrose has to do double duty, no reason given, a big wtf? But bonus points for my boy Pentagon Jr.
-Rollins vs Hardy :mark: a personal dream match
-Kalisto vs Balor vs Evans :mark: I would have given the X DIV title to Evans here
-Puma vs Strong vs King :mark: Puma vs Strong would have been a better match up
-Don't really give a shit about the rest of the card

ZOMBO:
-Sweet opener with Dynamite vs Benoit, they are both assholes and will beat the shit out of each other
-I would have done Yoko vs Umaga bc Reigns/Rikishi are WOAT
-Macho Man vs Latino Heat is definitely interesting
-ROCK VS BROCK :mark:
-You have a nice roster like Orton, Owen Hart, Jericho but I give zero fucks about their matches

ZOMBO gets bonus points for his main event but TED's card is the overall killer. TED WINS.

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

Zombo takes it overall. Liked the Samoan match with Umaga and Reigns and of course, Rock/Brock. Body slam match looks good, even the loser gets his goatee shaved off match looks decent on paper. Orton/Race looks amazing as well.

TED had the Steen/Jack match as well as the Rollins/Hardy match but I feel like a stip to the Hardy/Rollins match would have made it better. Ladder Match or something along those lines.

Have to go w/ ZOMBO here, love how his card has content and all the matches are for a reason. I will say fuck pairing/wasting Slic Ric w/ Bruno (yes I'm Italian, but he's awful)

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

Both good cards but Zombo has my vote here by just a little bit. Overall his card has slightly better matches and I think every match on his card would be good to great.

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

Solid card from both, definitely 2 shows I would watch from start to finish

ZOMBO's top matches of Flair/Bruno, Savage/Eddie, and Rock/Brock push ZOMBO's card over the top for me though

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

Both great cards.

Brock/Rock would be cool to see again
Would have loved to seen Reigns/Umaga
Savage/Guerrero would be pretty cool to see

Austin/Ambrose would be a great feud. Think the promos they would do would be a great buildup to a very entertaining match
Steen/Cactus in an I Quit match would be fun as hell to watch. Would love to see these two trying to kill each other
Triple threat match would be fun to watch
And Rollins/Hardy one of my dream matches

Again both great cards but my vote goes to Ted

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

Loved both of these cards!

Thought Ted was getting a little too, "contemporaries vs contemporaries" then he hit me with the Wrecking Crew vs Doom and I had to take another look at his card. Great work Ted that was fun. Thesz vs Dibiase, and Balor v Evans v Kalisto were great.

It's obviously just a matter of taste. I prefer my "dream card" to truly be a dream card transcendent of time and space, putting together matchups we could only imagine, that would fill the largest arenas on the planet. And while Ted did some of that, Zombo did more....

Zombo delivered my personal preference. top to bottom kept hitting me with haymaker matchup after matchup....Flair vs Bruno, Race vs Orton, Are you kidding Savage vs Guerrero!!!! Especially 1985 Savage.

Honestly this one was so close I actually changed my vote a couple of times. I ended up with Zombo but I think his main event actual hurt him in my mind, because I just had dreamt that one too often.

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

Both are epic cards but Zombo had a match or two I wouldn't care for and Ted's card was more solid from top to bottom.

"KOBE BRYANT AND THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS PRESENT

THE CARD THAT SHOULD BE IN THE HOLLYWOOD SEMI-FINALS"

Is completely true, I shouldn't have won. Zombo's card is fantastic and with the addition of MY GUYS, it's insanely good. Despite, you know, copying my main event. Savage/Eddie is awesome as well.

Ted has a decent card but, I feel that many of the matches are kinda random, unlike his first card. Also Moxley aka Ambrose being in two big matches kinda hurts the idea of having Austin vs. Moxley aka Ambrose after it. The biggest issue IMO is the switching of opponents with Foley, Moxley, Austin and Owens. Nonetheless, still a fairly decent card I would want to see over many others, especially with Balor losing.

Voting Zombo.

Re: THE NOT SO NEW YEAR SNAKE DRAFT! HOLLYWOOD CONSOLATION MATCH #1: TED VS ZOMBO

I was this close to voting Ted as the winner because of Austin-Ambrose and Steen-Foley, but then took a closer look at Zombo's card and came to the conclusion that Zombo's card is just too good to pass on, mainly due to Eddie-Savage, Finlay-Sheamus and Orton-Race.

Would've voted Ted had he had Ambrose-Foley and Austin-Steen instead, but as I said, my vote goes to ZOMBO due to him have a stronger card overall. :Zombo :WHYYY4
