I thought I'd restart this thread because the one leading up to WM30 was a great help. I met some cool people in New Orleans through chatting to people on this thread. Us Brits gotta stick together!
This will be my 2nd Mania experience (WM30 was my 1st) and I can't bloody wait! I'm travelling on my own next year instead of going with a travel buddy like I did this year, but I'm looking forward to it all the same. I'm going for a Gold package tomorrow when the packages go on sale which gave me fantastic seats for WM30, so I'm sticking with it.
Looking forward to chatting with you guys and beginning the journey to WM31 together.
You're gonna have the trip of a lifetime! It will inspire you to go again, trust me! I'm basically gonna try to go every year until money and responsibilities get in the way. I'm not booking my flights till later in the year. The cost of the package is gonna clear me out.
I cotemplated not going after a friend pulled out. But then I remembered how fantastic the trip was this year and couldn't say no. You've still got some time to think about it though.
General sale is a bit risky. The package will give you good seats and you don't have to stress out about booking everything at different points between now and Mania. It's up to you though.
Heading from Glasgow for my 2nd Mania, was at 29. Already got my flights and accommodation booked so not bothering with the packages, will get Mania tickets when they out and hopefully Raw too. Not bothered about HOF, and I've done Access before...might even pick up tickets for it nearer the time, will see.
Me and my mate staying at the Ramada San Jose, just beside the convention centre
SUCCESS!!! Gold package for 1 person (4 nights including RAW). It ended up being pricier than I thought for 1 person, but who cares. I'M GOING TO MANIA BITCHES!!!
Fair enough. I got let down by a mate just a few days ago. But it didn't stop me from booking a package anyway. Nothing was gonna get in the way of me going to Mania again!
Did toy with going this year as we're over in the US for that weekend anyway but couldn't shuffle things around; so we're going to The Squared Circle in Chicago to watch it instead, reckon if you can't be there then that's got to be one of the best alternatives!
Silver packages booked. First ever Mania, and well prepared to get bitten by the bug and need to go every year from now on! Tagged on a trip to SF after. Cannot wait to be back in the US!
I'm 50/50 on going next year, Done WM 27 and WM 29
Not doing the package flights are 620 from Gatwick going Friday back on Wednesday and the hotel was 220 for 2 people in the Ramada. Only thing that is putting me off are the things to do around the area, How far is San Fran does anyone know?
I'll be going guys, this will be my 3rd in a row and 5th overall , going with another two guys I met at manias over the years . .
We booked hotels and flight a while ago and we where going to do packages but they are crap this year compared to last one so doing it all seperate for us..
Flying in int he Tuesday to San Fran for 4 nights then onto mania baby
2nd Mania myself, flying out of Manchester (I hope!) on the 23rd, staying in SanFran 3 nights, then heading down to Santa Clara/San Jose for 5 additional nights.
Just came across this thread. Me and a mate have booked our silver package 4 night stay, looking to meet other people there. Flying from either Newcastle or Manchester. PM me!
Sup guys, i'm a brit looking to go to Wrestlemania, but haven't trouble with working out the costs.
If i go for the cheapest travel package by myself its comes way too much (ÂŁ1200+). Currently i've got ÂŁ1000 saved up, and if i went with someone it would cost around ÂŁ800 for each person.
Is there any way i could find someone to buddy up with, preferably someone from UK. Or just someone reliable in and as enthusiastic as me? Or any tips of how to get it cheaper (i.e getting it seperately - does it work out cheaper or is it more hassle since ill havent to get the remains of the seating arrangements)
I'll looking to stay up there for about 10 days, so before and after Wrestlemania.
Anyone on here with previous experience of purchasing WM tickets (not through the packages) answer a question for me please?
When I'm buying my WM tickets on release day, should I use a TicketMaster.com account or TicketMaster.co.uk account to buy them? Or does it not make a difference? I know you can print tickets at home now for WM, RAW etc so it shouldn't make a difference will it? I can use will call anyway if i need to. Thanks.
You need a .com account. I like to keep my Mania tickets as collectors items so I get the actual ticket by collecting it from will call when in the US.
This is will be my 2nd mania (30 was my 1st) and I I will be going solo again. Like others I'm thinking of going to San Fran a few days before but my main question is how do others plan on getting to San Jose from San Fran?
Is anyone still to book a flight? They seem to have shot up to ÂŁ600ish now. Anybody with past experience offer any advice on whether to wait and see if they drop or will they only go up from here?
I'm still waiting to book my flight. I'm now joined on the package with a friend of mine, so I have to wait till he gets the money to pay for his half of the flights. I'm worried about leaving it too long because of the increase in price. I'm hoping to have them booked by the end of January at the latest. I had to pay around ÂŁ700 for my flight to New Orleans earlier this year.
Have you booked your flight mate?
ÂŁ450ish was the price I was finding when I first purchased travel package. Kicking myself for not booking it as now I cant find anything under ÂŁ580. Im using all of the price comparison websites like skyscanner but they don't seem to be coming down.
If Wrestlemania tickets go on sale this weekend, there will be a lot more people looking for flights to San Fran. I have a feeling this might mean flights costs will rise! Supply and demand!
Well, booked my seats today and i'm very happy with them. Section C140, Row 12, Seats 16-18!
