I am not opposed to buying Ghosts at a late time, but not at launch, no. Not paying full price for one of their games, still haven't bought Black ops 2 yet either. I have enough to do that i don't care if I play it or not.

They are still charging $40 for Black Ops I on steam. Fucking game should be $15 at this point. What a bunch of fucking vultures. Full price for Black Ops 2 = rofl

Really. All this rubbish over some silly game?
Well I only mentioned it as a light rib.

But I do recall looking for BRUCE KLEE and getting attacked by you while I had passive mode on (thank god).

Then later on you shot the fuck out of me for no reason and did it a handful more times before I retaliated, and you did to Froot in that same session and apparently to Sono a few days later in a different session.

Eh?? Battlefield has absolutely terrible movement mechanics. I don't really understand why you would even bring it up. Your character feels closer to something out of Knack than an actual human being. On Battlefield I know if you put your back against a wall and go prone your legs will just go straight through that wall, whereas on COD at least the physics prevent such stuff.

Even if Battlefield's was more realistic, which I don't think it is; it's still an incredibly clunky movement system compared to COD's much smoother more liquid movement in which you actually feel in control of your character. Well except when the lag compensation turns up

Sono is a different story, that guy would not leave me alone, I swear he started all this.

I don't think I will either and I've bought ever COD game since COD4. I'm just burnout on the series and I don't enjoy it nearly as much as I used to. Black Ops 2 wasn't that bad tbh, and MW3 was a lot worse and I think MW3 is easily the worst COD game ever made, but I'm just tired of series at this point and I feel the series has been going downhill ever since the original COD Black Ops. The fact that COD Ghost is an Infinity Ward title and the last Infinity Ward COD game MW3 was a total abomination is another factor as to why I don't think I'll be getting it.

Ever year around this time I would have some interest in the new COD game, but this year I have absolutely none.

Entirely untrue. Every COD game has clipping issues. It's worst in games with the riot shield too. It fucks it over hardcore because you go against a wall to minimise the chance of taking damage and they walk outside and your arse is sticking out.

It's a more realistic movement system. You're supposed to be clunky when carrying upwards of 15kg of weaponry and utilities lol.

Dat realism.

If i wanted 'clunky' movements I would play Lego based video games.

That has nothing to do with movement, just an oversight of entering vehicle mechanics.

Linking a video made by some teenager with a dubstep intro to their epic Call of Duty biased fanboyism montage videos doesn't help.

The key point is: Fluid player movement a Battlefield game does not have with the Frostbite engine.

This better explains what I'm getting at. The Frostbite engine gives a sort of 'ragdoll' effect on your character as if your character has no bones or something. Just because it's 'clunky' it doesn't exactly translate to realism. Your character doesn't feel like a human being. There's no fluidity or proper physics applied.

Edit: Like just watching how a player walks in Battlefield it honestly looks like you are controlling a robot or a penguin. It's a very strange form of movement.
