Help building a PC gaming rig

Hi guys,

I figured there are probably some guy's on this board that might know abit about building computers etc. I have a computer a couple of years old with the following specs (got this off the manufacturers website):

Processor
* AMD Athlon 215 x2 AT 2.7GHZ
* NVIDIA® GeForce® 9200 Chipset

Memory
* 4GB DDR2 (4GB max)

Hard Drive
* 1TB / 1000GB SATA

Graphics
* NVIDIA® GeForce 7100

Now my idea was to build onto this PC with the intention of being able to run fifa 13 on highest settings with a nice ENB series. I'd like some tips on what case/graphics card/PSU to buy etc. My budget is about £250

Cheers

Re: Help building a PC gaming rig

Do you have any favorite UK e-shop? Price convertors are a bitch if I use e-shops from my country.

Well, I made you something decent from scratch, but it goes over the budget. You kinda go too cheap if you want something mid endish. Here. Your HDD can be reused but is it at least SATA II?

Cheers pal, that looks nice. I could knock it down by getting a cheaper case i suppose. Do you think thats the best graphics card for under £100? i heard the radeon 7700 is good.

Re: Help building a PC gaming rig

I'm not really up to date with the GTX600/Radeon 7000 series since I made my PC when 500 and 6000 were on a roll. You can read some online reviews for both or search a site where you can compare the two. Also, that case is simply awesome, trust me.
