Re: games that could use a reboot
Great games, even the RPG was a classic in my book. Even Orta on the original Xbox was a great game. Its not that it needs any kind of reboot, as much as they just need to make a new game.
That game needs a re-anything. It was one of the best games on the Genesis, and has yet to be remade, released, or really discussed. It was a great game. It would be a great game for an XBLA or PSN release. Give it online multiplayer and cell shaded graphics.
Space Giffon VF-9.
It had a great story, and was overall a fun mech game. The controls were weak because it was before the ps controller had analog sticks, and would be awesome if they ever remade that one.
Omikron: The Nomad Soul
Great game that was too ambitious for the dreamcast era. I've heard talk for years on a sequel or prequel, but nothing solid about it that I know.
I also wouldn't mind pretty much every good to great rpg before the ps2 era. However, even though I want them to remake those games, I don't care as much as some, because I still look at those games like I did back in the day. When I play mario on nes, its still mario and looks and plays great to me. When I play FF7, the story is still great. Though I will say just like most of us if FF7, FF8, Chrono Trigger, or Xenogears were remade for next gen, I would nerd out. Though like I said, they are still great games and I don't think graphics and (probably annoying) voice actors will make me love them more.
