For example, handheld. I'd have picked Resident Evil Revelations as it was more like an old school resident Evil game than Resident Evil 6, Leon's chapters.

It was so good, I remember rumors about it coming to home consoles.

TWD is good but it doesn't really deserve to win awards for anything because it is hardly even a game.

Haven't played Journey or XCOM though.

The total lack of Far Cry is disappointing.

I'm not really too fussed with what The Walking Dead went away with as that's the strongest aspect of the game - its characters and story. I still think Handsome Jack's the best from last year though.

Yep, it will be. Already been confirmed. Looking forward to it as I've been disappointed with the last few games in the series, and like you said, it's like the old school Resi games but with the 3rd person angle.
