Durango (X Box 720) and Orbis (Ps4) specs revealed...

Seems to be revealed here

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/df...rango-vs-orbis

Looks to be legit information; I have no problem believing that these specs are either nearly accurate, or entirely accurate.

The first thing I actively searched for and noticed, was system memory. With all other things being nearly equal, the one major difference between the PS3 and the 360, came down to the less system memory for the PS3. This wasn't a major deal until a game like Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim and the 360 version ran a lot better, with the DLC for Skyrim in limbo for ages on the PS3 s result. Now Sony has less memory, but it is a bit faster than what Microsoft will be using, so it will be interesting to see what developers end up preferring - faster or more. The article, like others, leads one to think the PS4 will be the superior system, but I'm not convinced that the less RAM will be preferable. Ultimately, it all comes down to how many desirable games are on the system, especially at launch. Microsoft really needs a few new appealing looking franchises; they've lost the exclusives that they once had long ago.

I don't know too much about hardware, so I am not going to comment on the "more or faster" point. But if the rumors in the other thread are true and Microsoft cuts out any second-hand games and Sony does not, my guess would be that is a way more important factor when people have to decide which next gen console they buy. At least for me it is.

Well, rumors are rumors, but I hope we know for sure in less than two weeks :D

PS3's specs beat 360's after the reveal and it was PS3 that had more internal problems down the road. So you never know what you're gunna get just from the specs.

Still undecided myself as I've had 2 consoles from each company.

It'll come down to game exclusives and online layout more than specs. Both machines look beast from what is rumored though.

The systems will have fun games too, but I can see nobody wants to discuss that.

Hoping Sony introduces a new name but I doubt it. Nintendo would also have been way better off. Wii Mii and all those other lame ass names are horrible.
